TNT Kennels & Training Center - Abbotsford

Our experience with TNT Training is mixed! We attended one class on Nov 4th, and were excited about some of the pointers we learned and the idea of positive reinforcement training. However, while the instructor had lots of good information, they spoke to us quite condescendingly which left us with mixed feelings afterward. We moved on from the initial experience and were looking forward to the next week. When we arrived next week, after waiting a little while we realized classes were cancelled due to Remembrance Day. Our instructor had not told us the previous week. Kind of our mistake though as the email notifying us was in spam. Just a note to anyone considering joining- their emails end up in spam so you have to make sure to look for them! The next week we were hit with very heavy rain and flooding in the Fraser Valley. We spoke to them, and they said the training facility was unaffected which was good to hear, so that classes were not cancelled. However, as we live in Chilliwack we had no way of attending classes. Long story short- after asking to be transferred to classes in the New Year, and after explaining how we had little to no way of getting to the area where the classes are, and how we felt unsafe driving all the way out there even if the highways were open, they finally agreed to a partial refund. Over all, not a totally negative experience- just wanted to share our experience for anyone considering booking classes in the future! If you read the Google reviews, you can get an idea of how they handle customer service, which is slightly disappointing, however we don't have anything negative to say about the training or the facility :)

Joined super pup with my 7 month old puppy and learnt alot. Instructor was very informative and gave lots of tools to follow after for success. Will definitely be back for another class! Thanks guys!

I have taken my puppy to 3 different training classes at TNT Training Center over the past year. Each instructor has been excellent and the classes have been very informative. They have been a great deal of fun for Howie and I.

The trainers at TNT are very knowledgeable about all breeds of dogs. Even in the group classes the instructor took the time to talk to each owner about their breed of dog and how it was going with them. Very professional and very helpful. Would recommend to a friend and definitely heading back for the next set of classes!

I took a puppy class with Kelly and she was great! We reviewed the previous class at the start of each class and she would take questions we had. Class size was nice and small and the facility was nice as well.

I have taken many of my dogs toTNT Training. I just recently finished a pup in Kelly Thorborn's puppy class I learned so much it was excellent. I have my older dog already registered in another class with Kelly so I am sure it will be great also. TNT has such great trainers for all ages of dogs and all kinds of different classes fun for both the dog and the owner.

Highly recommend this training facility! We were very happy to see only positive training methods used and encouraged, and our instructor Katrina was great! Our puppy had issues with distractions and occasional whining, and Katrina always came over to help us or give advice on how to keep her focus. We followed the homework instructions every week, and felt well prepared for every class. We appreciated the additional training and tips for non-obedience things like harness and treat recommendations, and home manners. Our puppy is now 5 months old, she has wonderful obedience for her age, and every single person that meets her comments on how well behaved she is! We will definitely be back for more classes in the future :)

100% worth every penny! Recently completed the Super Dog obedience training class with Kelly, who is a fantastic trainer. It was great to see how our puppy improved week after week, as well as how much they enjoyed class. Class provides lots of opportunities to learn new skills, and doing the take home exercises really reinforced what was taught. TNT’s programming is easy to follow, and as long as you’re willing to put in the effort outside of class, you can expect to see significant improvements in your puppy.
