My 4 month old puppy had his first initial visit at the DogPatch today and I couldn't be more pleased with my/his experience. From the application, to the introduction and on to pick up, it was a breeze and a pleasure to communicate with the staff. My puppy was welcomed by lovely and affectionate people and was slowly introduced, one by one to the pack, in a well managed and controlled environment. I was able to see the first 15 minutes of introductions through a one way window and was so proud of my boy. Once they agreed that he would be fine they sent me on my way. After a couple of hours I received a few adorable photos of him and some of his new friends, and they updated me on how he was doing. He had showed some small signs of anxiety in the beginning but they were able to work with him and correct it quickly. He did so great for his first day and was wiped out when we got home! Definitely would recommend and can't wait for his next visit!

So far I have only taken my Cavalier to the Dog Patch once for an orientation. They have a great check-in/out process that seems to run smoothly, keeping the dogs out of view from public and other incoming dogs. I like how the smaller dogs have a building separate from the large dogs. Love the fact that weekends are available. Staff were friendly, communicative and supported my dog well with her transition to meeting the other dogs in the building. Looking forward to future visits and will update my review in the near future. Gave 4 stars only because we haven't attended regularly yet. ??

We have been taking our dog Willow to The Dog Patch for 6 months now. Every couple of weeks she boards there for 2 days/nights while I work shift work. She LOVES it there. Her tail starts to wag feverishly and she runs to the door anytime I mention the patch or any one of her many friends that she’s made at the patch. The team at the dog patch take great care when looking after her. They notice if she’s not eating well or if she needs medical attention. They send me lovely pictures of Willow and all her friends. It’s been a great fit.

The dog patch is amazing! My dog has been going twice a week for almost a year which was puppy stages for him and each drop off is like bringing a kid to a candy store! :) He is always so excited to arrive and the aunties make sure they get to know each of the dogs personally. It's so heart warming to hear them tell you how the day went and I have complete trust in them. They are open to sharing feedback or any concerns if they see any such as maybe keep an eye, your dog had an off day today. Love this! Keep up the amazing hard work you all do?

We wanted to try leaving our 2 Toy Australian Shepherds with a local doggie daycare to see how they would like it. Eryn helped us get the dogs booked in for the day and was there to greet us when picking them up. She provided us meaningful feedback about their stay and it looks like they had a blast! We even got some pictures of our pups having fun! Great little facility with great service! Highly recommend them to all the canine parents out there!

I could not sing the praises of this place enough. We've been going to the Dog Patch for about 2 years now and everyone I've encountered has been been nothing but wonderful, welcoming and eager to see our dogs. My one pup has a lot of feelings, so attending daycare/boarding was a big leap for him when we started. At his Introduction Day they welcomed him with patience and the structure he needed to succeed. He now loves his stays (wags his tail as soon as we make the turn) and is very happy-sleepy when we bring him home. I love how communicative they are (quick to respond to emails and send photos/check-in messages during boarding), the structure of both daycare and boarding (scheduled play, nap and eating times for boarding) and their Introduction days (conscious effort to prioritize the safety of their pack). I am so relaxed whenever I board our dogs knowing they'll have their own vacation with the best people. If you're hesitating on where to go, look no further. Setup an Introduction day because this is the best doggy daycare/boarding home in Greater Vancouver. Thank you, Dog Patch, for all that you do!

We took our 15 month old lab for his first grooming session at the Dog Patch over a month ago. He had not been socialized when he came to us at a year old and was quite petrified to go in for his grooming. It was so heartwarming to see how Alison and her lovely assistant, so gently and patiently worked with him, until he relaxed and went in with them. He had never climbed a flight of stairs and they even managed to get him safely up and down the stairs for his grooming. We are so thankful to the lovely staff of the Dog Patch for taking such good care of Beau and needless to say, we will be back!

Our chocolate lab goes for her bath’s at The dog Patch. They clean her coat, ears and trim her nails. She always comes out smelling amazing. Quick and easy drop off and pickups. Friendly staff. And reasonably priced. My dog is stubborn when it comes to hard floors, and the staff get her in and out with a wagging tail.
