Originally went for a consultation for regular laser surgery to correct my vision, and the doctors at TLC discovered my cataracts. I had no idea! They spent extra time with me, had me see two doctors AND consult with the surgeon himself (Dr. Rootman, what a kind and brilliant man). I went for another consultation at another well-known laser surgery clinic (for a second opinion) and they actually mentioned how well-respected TLC was and told me I was indeed in excellent hands. Pre- and post-surgery care was exceptional; they answered all my questions and made me feel safe and comfortable. Now, 4 days after surgery, I feel great and my vision is excellent! Can't say enough about these people. Wonderful. Thank you, TLC!

The preparation for surgery was very careful and thorough, and every person who played a role in it impressed me as highly knowledgeable, skillful, as well as patient, courteous, and reassuring. The surgery seemed to go very fast. My surgeon, Dr. Rootman, and his team worked with calm proficiency, which eased my nervousness. Now, several weeks after surgery, my vision is better than expected. I am grateful and heartened by my experience at TLC. The clinic deserves its high reputation.

I recently had my right eye undergo a PRK enhancement with Dr. Nick Nianiaris, a fine gentleman I might add. I had a fantastic experience! The team was very accommodating to my hectic schedule (sorry) and addressed all of my concerns. I am happy to report I am all smiles and seeing better than 20/20 again. Although many places offer a similar procedure, the exceptionally A+ staff, all-star roster of doctors and state of the art technology contributed to an amazing experience. Cheers to the wonderful team at TLC Toronto, well Done!!
E	Emily Havermann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For years I thought I could never face my fear of getting laser surgery on my eyes. After speaking to friends and family about their own experiences I decided it would be worth it. The staff, including the surgeon Dr. AlShaker, are all very friendly and comforting in the unusual experience. Mild sedation and numbing of the eyes is a must and the entire surgery seemed to take under 30 minutes (probably less but I couldn't keep track). You lie under two different machines, the first one with bright white lights, the second machine with green and red lights. There was almost no pain at all (that I can remember) but some discomfort about an hour after surgery. But after several hours of sleep once home, I woke up feeling pretty normal. Lots and lots of eye drops (at least four times a day) for several days and I am very happy I took a week off work to recover. Still within the 7 day recovery period awaiting my second follow up appointment but very happy with results and the entire experience. It was scary and kinda fun (like a rollercoaster) and I would do it again. Thank you TLC for the great work, my optometrist was very impressed for the post surgery exam the next day!

The staff made me feel at ease and the surgeon’s recommendation for me was exactly what I wanted. The result was better than I expected and the recovery was easy. I wish I had done this years ago!

The welcome desk told me the entire process will take 3 hours, and I was actually out after 3 hours. Through many tests, I met a group of lovely lab technicians and various eye doctors where they triple check if you're eligible for surgery. Surgery was quick and painless, and recovery was only about a day. Would recommend this location to anyone looking to get LASIK!

The staff are absolutely amazing, and everything is so professional. I literally cannot recommend this place enough. The doctors are all so kind and all the staff are patient and are willing to answer any and all questions. If you're thinking about getting laser eye surgery than this is 100% the best place for it.
