Selection was good and the service was great but once we chose a pair he liked and were measured up I was told the only option for lenses was a 2 for 1 “deal” that would cost $390. I don’t want to buy two frames and I don’t want an extra set of lenses just in case. I don’t mind paying for quality and I don’t mind paying a premium for great service but I never want to feel like I’m being take advantage of. I walked. I found the exact same frames from another local independent for 10% less. Comparable poly-carbonate lenses including blue light filter were $225. The 2 for 1 “deal” was a marginal discount over buying two sets of lenses independently (for something I don’t need or want).

Her staff is very pleasant and accommodating - they worked around my busy schedule and fit me in as soon as they could. They kept the office very clean while I was there, sanitizing every surface, which made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Awadia is a wonderful optometrist- extremely knowledgeable, kind, and patient. I had many questions, which she answered with honesty and directed me to further resources. She spent extra time to make sure she addressed all of my numerous concerns with regards to my concussion symptoms and in doing this did more tests than were included in the original appointment. She made me feel very reassured. I would highly recommend her care, especially to anyone struggling with eye symptoms related to concussion!!

It was totally fantastic process. My therapist Brainne is professional, super patient and helpful and Dr Awadia is so supportive and warm. All the other staff are incredible and friendly and they always make me feel at home. I had made big progress after my 40 sessions. Definitely a wonderful experience and highly recommend!

She prescribed me glasses that make it a pleasure to read and have reduced my headaches. Until recently, I had avoided reading due to discomfort. I'm very thankful for Dr. Awadia's great knowledge, kindness and care.

After checking online, we decided to give Dr. Awadia a try at Yonge Eyes. Our experience could not have been better. Nick graciously helped me lug a baby stroller up some steps, and back down them when we left. Not even a sense that it was annoying for him. Very kind. I didn’t catch the name of the other staff member in reception but she gave me a warm smile and welcomed me. Great waiting room and everyone was masked up. Lots of sanitizer around. We’re pretty anxious about covid so that was awesome. I can’t say how many business I’ve been to with folks having masks around their chins. It makes sense, hard to wear them all the time. Not here though. Really appreciate that. Actual eye exam went so well. Dr. Awadia is so kind and compassionate. Like I said, I had no idea what to expect and she was just lovely. Super knowledgeable (obviously). Went over my concerns, and answered my questions. She did some testing and exercises with my little one; all while singing to her to keep her at ease. I feel very grateful people like Dr. Awadia exist. We could not be happier or more appreciative to have found and visited Yonge Eyes! Thank you!

She uncovered an issue with my eyes that my previous optometrist had missed for years, and in so doing, relieved some recurring discomfort. She is also extremely kind, and fantastic with our kids. The staff are pleasant and courteous. Thank you!

Dr. Awadia was very friendly and very good with my daughter. She explained everything to me and every test she was performing and made my daughters first time experience wonderful.
