★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We adored our visit to Tin Poppy. Secluded, private, lush, and a cabin with absolute quaint charm. We brought our two Golden Retriever puppies, and they loved the walking trails. It was so quiet; the only sounds were the wind in the trees and the birds singing. My favourite experience was the family dog, Carbon, who just came on in one morning and proceeded to hang out with us for much of the day. My puppies loved it! We already have our next visit booked in October. I can't wait! Thank you for creating such a magical space <3 Our world needs more healing spaces like yours!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tin poppy retreat is a beautiful place! I loved my stay at the violet cabin. It had everything I needed and it was a lovely place to rest and retreat. The area has lots of little trails and the surroundings are just gorgeous. I’ll definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful cabin. Easy to get to with a well maintained road, my hatchback had no issues. The cabin itself is incredibly clean, spacious, and cozy. Comfy beds and sofas and we loved the screened in porches.
Unfortunately we happened to be there during the hottest weather in the history of British Columbia so we didn't really get to enjoy the hiking trails but we became best friends with cold showers and the freezer.
100% coming back next summer. Thanks so much Maggie for the wonderful experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tin Poppy is the perfect unique getaway! Our kids slept in the watch tower all week and loved every minute. The outdoor shower, watch tower, screened in area, trails, sweet little furry friend visitors (Carbon, Leo) were all so great! We would for sure come back again. If you want to sit outside, make sure to bring your own lawn chairs. The owner is fabulous as well, went out of their way to help me!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was just an awesome experience. It was quit cozy and nice. We stayed in the wild rose cabin and it was really a lot of fun and very romantic. The views were spectacular. A good way to disconnect while still being comfortable and cozy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely escape to Violet Cabin in February 2022. The cabin is far more luxurious than glamping but yes, there's no indoor plumbing or electricity (which was great actually). We enjoyed the quiet and went x-country skiing every day at Larch Hills (excellent place, well organized, $15/day) and hiking the trails around the cabins with microspikes. The sauna at the end of each day was glorious. The night sky was stunning. We had everything we needed. 4x4 truck made access easy as the FSR was snowy and icy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Often cabins are presented in glowing terms online, but upon check-in you realize all the pictures were taken from specific angles to make the space look larger, more accommodating, and less rustic. To our pleasant surprise we discovered that the Violet Cabin was very private (other than the good-natured hound who greeted us, we didn’t see another soul during our entire stay), larger than we had expected, furnished with a variety of handmade pieces, and topped-off with so many artistic touches that our single evening there actually felt like an escape. We started planning our next visit before checkout, and can’t wait to get back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tin-Poppy Retreat is a peaceful and serene get-away location. Our cabin (Violet Cabin) was tucked away in the woods with a wide variety of tree species all around. The cabin had an authentic old-world feel to it, with all the necessities to meet your basic needs. The warmth of the wood-fire stove and the peacefulness of the cabin put us instantly into relax mode. Everything was exquisitely clean, and comfortable. Loved the sauna!! We'd return in a "heart" beat. (Loved the red hearts hanging from the branches along the route leading us to our destination! )
