L	Louise Arnott on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the second time we have bought an appliance from The Recycle Shop, the first was a fridge in October of 2018. It was delivered on time and in good shape. We appreciated help in getting the “new to us” appliance installed. Today we took curb side delivery of a washer/dryer stacker. It looks to be in good condition and I’ve been pleased with the two loads I’ve run through it. Questions were asked and answered via text messages with regards to a minor problem which I was then able to fix. 2 for 2 we’ve been pleased with help received from Bob and although we hope to not have to have any repairs or replacement appliances any time in the near future, we would happily deal with him again and recommend him to friends.
J	Jenny Wear on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Showed up on a Tuesday @ 1pm and the store was fenced off and lights out. A fellow was cleaning a truck inside the fenced area and I asked if they were open. He said "only Tues-Sat 10-2". I replied it was Tuesday and he said didn't realize what day it was. He said for sure open the next day (Wed) - I tried calling at noon Wed to confirm, but the cell number listed went to voicemail. I tried my luck and drove back, and again it was fenced off with no lights on. Super disappointed as our dryer died and we urgently need to replace, and now I've wasted 2 lunch hours.
M	Matt Savola on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a Kenmore Elite washer from The recycle Shop last June and paid $450. It worked great at first but than the other day the Transmission locked up causing the motor to over heat and blow out. Stuff happens but when you pay almost $500 and there is no customer service or repair option except for "some guy" who doesn't have a phone and would have to borrow his daughters to get in contact with me. Sorry but this is not a professionally run business. In short it worked for 9 months until it didn't.

They helped me out when no one else even returned calls, and went out of their way to install and follow up. Bob is trustworthy and knowledgeable. Brian is dependable and reliable-he really went above and beyond. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and use their services again.

They keep large appliances out of landfill by reselling (and fixing, when they can) older stoves/fridges/deep freezers. Bought a used older fridge (comes with 30 day warranty) for a beer/garage fridge. It started failing within the warranty period and Graham gladly took it back and exchanged it for a bigger, younger fridge he had in stock. Very kind and helpful man and thanks for keeping so much steel out of our landfill.

Elliot checked and returned with some info and a recommendation. It has been a perfect match for our needs and the fact that he didn't just try to move the most expensive unit speaks volumes to his and the stores credibility and integrity of the staff and business. The delivery and install, again, efficiently completed and without any issue. I would not hesitate recommending this business to anyone needing a used appliance.
