Tread depth is measured to lowest point in valley of tread to the top of tread, not from top to the wear bar. This guy argued with me about this even though I provided ICBC evidence proving otherwise. Either ignorant of the facts or trying to scam me for extra money for new tires... EDIT: response to your reply... You do not have the right to make up your own rules to determine safety. You must follow ICBC regulations. Ignorance I guess it is...

A very well thought out approach to automotive maintenance and repair. i think i have found a shop i can trust , staffed by competent , knowledgeable people. Their clear communication about the work to be done and pricing of it makes decision making easier . my accord runs wonderfully after being seen by them.

Where other automotive giving me costly quotation and asking a day to fix my car issue. I would definitely recommend K-tech automotive if anyone had any issue related car. The service was good too.

Contacted them for a non-starting vehicle and they were willing to have it in that same afternoon, before I was able to even get it there! Ended up having it towed first thing the next morning, then: 1) had a diagnosis by the end of the day, in spite of an extremely busy day; 2) got my car back with a new starter on the following afternoon; 3) was clearly informed of what was going on with my car every step of the way; 4) paid the price I was quoted, which was very fair, especially on labour. This was maybe the best experience I’ve had taking my vehicle to a garage - Kash and his team have rightfully earned a new customer! A+

Time and properly. His shop rate for the work is always reasonable. In this day and age it is hard to find a good, knowledgeable and reasonably priced mechanic. We have complete trust in this shop and all who work here. We are now moving from Victoria and it will be hard to find another shop as good as this one is

I brought in an unusual hybrid vehicle which gave them more trouble than expected and required them to purchase a specialized tool. They kept me updated with good communication throughout the process and even though they spent an extra day on it they did not charge me more than their original estimate. I am happy with their service and can confidently recommend them.
