★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are debating between automotive repair establishments here in Victoria, make the right decision by going to Island Muffler & Brake Auto Care. I went in to get my brakes serviced and was greeting with professional, friendly, punctual and knowledgable staff. Tyrone was an excellent resource who explained everything in great detail and the prices are more than reasonable! If I have any more issues, I will only go here. Thanks again for making me feel safe again behind my wheels!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Island Muffler because my muffler pipe came loose. I asked if they would be able to repair it and they told me it was unrepairable because they would damage the pipe (which was not rusted at all) while trying to fix it. I was quoted just under $1400. I then called Budget Brake and Muffler. They were able to look at it right away and told me it was an easy fix and would cost $130. $130!!!!!! My dad has also seen Island Muffler take complete advantage of women who seem like they don't know about cars. He watched one of their technicians tell a woman the whole front end of her car needed to be replaced. My dad took a look at it because he had a feeling they weren't being honest and it turns out only her CV joints needed replacing. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ty and his crew were terrific to deal with for my older Nissan Axxess. I had a family member go in for me and while there was a bit of a delay (hoist issue), he loaned my family member a car so she could do her shopping for a few hours. Ty quoted me a fair price and that was the price, no surprise, no drama. They set such a good example of what a repair shop be like. Thank you for taking care of me and my family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used this shop before and found you get nickelled and dimed to death. I don't know why a shop charges you to get rid of medal, when they sell it for scrap medal. I got as estimate for brakes and found Midas muffler down the street was $300.00 cheaper roughly.
