★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brutal. Saw the play Christmas carol two years ago absolutely incredible. Changed my mind about seeing a play. Went again this year probably one of the worst things I’ve been too. 3 actors playing all characters. Very confusing very minimal props. Waste of money. Should have been advertised properly, so people would know what to expect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got a call from Theatre Calgary today, asking me to come back and they'd give me a special price for last two plays of the season. I stated that I don't attend places that discriminate. I was told they would never discriminate but you have to be vexed. Ummm, not discrimination? Clueless personnel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attended Steel Magnolias tonight with two other people. The play was well done, and the settings were great. However all three of us had trouble hearing what was said on stage. This is the second time in a month I have attended the theatre and both times I have found the sound very fuzzy and unclear. Please work on the clarity of the sound system.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spectacular city theater! Very well maintained. Very friendly staff and always have great shows playing. Lots of parking options: in the same building, in the city hall and in front, on 9th Avenue but any of them are free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exceptional. I saw million dollar quartet. Obviously, it's been a while going to the theater, and it was such a great experience as always. You may not know, but alot of the "staff" are volunteers, just people passionate about the arts. I highly recommend spending a the money to be entertained here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An excellent musical production with good acoustics, I imagine the sound would be good in any seat in this smaller, intimate theatre. The performers were top rated.
The only drawback I experienced was the extremely shallow legroom in the front row of the balcony. I didn't experience any other rows, can't speak about them. But for a premium seat, I would expect someone of my height (6') should be able to sit comfortably without banging my knees on the front railing. Quite uncomfortable.
