About Ebus Calgary Downtown Ticket Office

About Us Ebus - Kelowna, BC OfficeEbus – Kelowna, BC

Here is a little about us and our history. Ebus launched in Alberta in 2011, as well as in BC in 2018. We’re the sibling brand to the luxury Red Arrow, owned by Pacific Western Group of Companies. PWT is an Alberta-based and family-owned people transportation company.

Ebus provides Albertans and British Columbians with economical, efficient, and safe transportation. We offer an extensive network of scheduled routes for reliable transportation across the two provinces. This allows Ebus to specialize in coach service through Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary, and Fort McMurray, as well as from Vancouver into the interior of British Columbia. A Sister Company To Red Arrow

About Red Arrow: Red Arrow is proud to be more than a transportation company. We are part of each community we serve. Our luxury coaches have been travelling around Alberta since 1979. We are proud, as a result, to have become the safe, friendly, and trustworthy company people have come to rely on to get them safely to their destinations and Safely Home every day.

Our founder, R.B. Colborne, saw promise in elevating the perception of bus travel in Alberta, forming the luxury inter-city passenger coach service called Red Arrow on July 9, 1979. The business class coaches on the original Calgary-Edmonton-Fort McMurray Route were ahead of their time. Each bus offered single-row privacy seating, complimentary snacks and refreshments. These were the first commercial coaches to have seatbelts, and pay-per-use cellular phones. And surprisingly, at one time a business centre, complete with fax machine / printer, all-in-one units.

I have used red arrow and ebus many times this is the first time I was treated by a bus driver like this. infact 2 ladies on my side were talking louder than my voice. This kind of driver must be kick out of service coz he is not nice to passenger. Poker face and so so super rude.

As first time rider I had a great experience from Vancouver to Merritt and return - seats very comfortable, very clean, Wifi, bus left on time - arrived EARLY both ways! Far better service than with Greyhound! Good safety with seatbelts. Cheaper return fare as well. Drivers very helpful with luggage and friendly.

I travelled from Calgary to Edmonton on the E bus back in March 2018. There were 3 people on the bus and the ride was good. The seats however were extremely uncomfortable and the bus driver was not friendly. He was very rude and dismissive when I asked him if this was the station I was getting off at. I will never take this bus again. I even called the company the next day to complain but no one called me back. I would not recommend this bus to anyone.

Inexpensive way to take the bus and much more direct than Greyhound. Seats are very uncomfortable and it seems they need to get their drivers trained more consistently. Had many normal bus drivers but the last time we one very aggressive and rude one (older lady with white hair) who yelled at people the whole time and wouldn’t even let them get their luggage from the overhead compartments while on the highway, which has NEVER been an issue before. She definitely seems on a power trip and needs to relax a little bit. I hope the company has a chat with her about her behaviour because she made the entire trip very tense and didn’t give riders a very nice impression of your service.

I have used the Ebus a few time now. Never had an issue with the company. The buses have always been clean, drivers have been nice and my seat was comfy. There's not as many options for buses anymore and this is way better than what the Greyhound used to be. I only gave it 4 stars because when there like 2 or more people smoking cigarettes, the bus can smell real nasty when they walk in.

The Ebus service between Edmonton and Calgary is or has been very good. I have travelled on it extensively sometimes twice per month. However lately they hired a new driver who is really rude/crass. My other reason for not giving 5 stars is that Ebus counts my purse as one of the 3 allowed pieces. My purse sits on my lap. It does not take up space that could be used by other passengers or luggage. I believe they should reconsider this policy. Asking me to pay $15 because I had 3 pieces plus my purse is unfair. My purse shouldn't be counted as a 4th piece. Otherwise the service is good. Buses are clean and well maintained. But please oh please train that tall slim accented driver. He needs it badly.

I unfortunately have needed to travel via bus between Edmonton and Calgary often during covid. Ebus does not socially distance passengers. The driver I have been with often has been pretty rude. On the morning June 27 bus from Calgary to Edmonton had a passenger with no mask at ALL. His had snapped. The passenger didn’t have a spare, and while the bus driver saw, he made absolutely no move to provide an alternate, remove the passenger, or even speak to them. I am now forced to share a bus with an unmasked passenger for three hours. Considering Ebus and Red Arrow’s entire thing is β€œSafely Home” it’s pretty laughable. And enraging. Spend your money on other and likely cheaper bus options. For the premium you pay with these two busses you are not getting even your basic safety needs met.
