Nasty owner structured organization. They refused to pay back my damage deposit then after numerous calls they mailed a $75 dollar check to me two and a half months after move out date. This company is pathetic. It doesn't deserve even one star to rate.

We lived in a 1 bedroom Apartment for short term and it was very spacious. There was big balcony as well.The building is old but it's kept cleaned. The location is near to Kingsway Mall and 10 mins drive to downtown. If you like to stay close downtown then it's a good option .

Over priced, with horrible air circulation during summer and no amenities. Was paying $1200 a month for tiny bachelor apartment. The lobby smells like rat poison. There have been situations when I've seen hobos enter the building due to lack of security. Incompetent management team that loves to take advantage of its tenants. Was renting a place that had a missing vertical blind and $180 was taken of my security deposit due to that missing blind!! Also spent two days cleaning my apartment but apparently the floors weren't "washed" and so was charged $90 from my security deposit as well. If you want to rent an apartment at 921 5th Avenue SW do so with the mindset that the building is old and poorly maintained and the management team is looking for reasons to rip you off. I've been renting for almost 12 years this is the worst place in my tenancy stint.

I lived in the building for over 2.5 years. Building is quiet and pet friendly. Common area is clean however, there is a strong smell in the summer months from the pooling of garbage on the main floor (garbage chute landing) hence, the score of 4; although, management attempts its best to lessen the impact. As for management, while the person in charge when Paula Caldwell was on mat leave was offensive to say the least, Paula absolutely is on point. She is responsive, professional, considerate, advocates for her tenants; basically everything you could ask for from a building manager. When I had a dispute with the company that owns the parking garage located in the building, Paula went above and beyond to resolve the issue. Thank you Paula! Management gets 5 out of 5. If I wasn’t moving out of the Province, I would have continued renting here.
