★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly Staff! Saw much better deals/ price as compared to Globo Shoes (horrible experience there - read my review for them) Any how we bought shoes here today. Got nice good deals and kind of winter shoes we needed which were clearly labeled for the lowest temperature. when I went to the front to pay. I noticed my finger was slightly bleeding and the sales girl immediately went to find the first aid kit, that lead to a line up. so she called for backup in the meanwhile - I am very impressed with that!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drove to Calgary for an overnight stay and stopped, as always, at Cross Iron Mills to do some shoe shopping for my son. We had never been in this store before and thought we would try it out. No staff members acknowledged our entry to the store at all, and no one came to ask us if we needed assistance choosing shoes. There was one style of boys' shoes that did not have mesh, so we picked out a size 6, tried them on, and decided to purchase them. Upon paying for the shoes, I was not thanked for my purchase, and the cashier seemed like she couldn't care whether or not we were buying shoes. After we left, we stopped at Sport Chek to look for shoes, and decided to purchase a pair there, as the selection was vastly superior to The Shoe Company. We then returned to the Shoe Company and asked to return the shoes. Once again we were not greeted, and we had to stand around waiting for the cashier to orient a new staff member to the process of returning shoes. Not once did the original cashier make eye contact with us or acknowledge our presence in any way, except to respond to me asking for my original receipt back. I would certainly NEVER give the Shoe Company any of my business ever again, as I feel that customer satisfaction is of utmost importance, and to be treated as such does not make me want to be a loyal customer of this business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience ever. The store assistant was rude and stood there staring at us the whole time. I mean not in an inconspicuous way. She stood 2 meters from us stared us straight in the eye for the entire time. Felt like we were criminals. Liked the shoes but decided to not buy it because of the assistant. Never going here again.
