There wasn't a question that could not be answered or followed through. She was also very accommodating when missed a classed for personal reasons. Did a skirt and a bag.
K	K M (Kamiya) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In 2016, I was interested in learning how to sew, and decided to take beginner classes here. Main reason I decided on this place is because it was the most convenient, but I'm happy I made the choice! The hours were also convenient. It's a really cute and intimate studio, and the teacher is really kinda and patient. I did look up some youtube videos ahead of time to get a bit of understanding before the class, but it wasn't necessary as she does her best to walk you through step by step. You are expected to bring your own supplies, such as fabric, thread, pins, etc, but you can buy a beginner kit with the basics, along with other string and supplies in her shop. Each class kinda had a theme that builds upon your foundation. We started with making a hankerchief and infinity scarf, and by the end, we even made our own makeup/supply bag, which my family thought I bought cause it was really well done. She teaches proper stitch, how to use the cutter, ironing and so on as well. I would certainly recommend coming here for classes, they have a few other class which can teach you how to make pillows and clothes, and if you need any help during or after class, she is happy to assist!

She is super supportive and welcomes all sewing abilities with open arms and a smile! Will continue to take classes here and recommend people (beginner or expert) to come here!!

Clara is an excellent and patient teacher and the studio has a great atmosphere (& great music!). Trying a few easy things on my own at home, but will be back for Sewing Adventures (great concept ... pick the package of skills you want next and make a commercial pattern of your choice, with access to Clara and her excellent sewing machinery). Highly recommended.

She's passionate about her craft, very good at explaining and demonstrating procedures (especially given the extra challenge of doing it virtually), patient, encouraging, very helpful and responsive to questions -- in class and by email. Not to mention fun! Her enthusiasm is contagious. Just completed Sewing Basics last night. It was an excellent course -- definitely already considering taking another. Thanks, Clara!
