I googled restaurants near me.. and in hindsight im extremely glad I chose this place.. i stopped in and was welcomed with a smile by one of the waitress.. i stood around for a while tonget my bearings since it was an large space with multiple open rooms.... The Food.. I ordered a half rack w fries, decently priced and meat melting of the bone delicious. ... the waitresses... beautiful and attentive.. for what looked like a busy night.. they had all their customers taken care of. non stop... delicious.. Visit Shoxs... ur in for a surprise.

I was downstairs for a party and the girl that was behind the bar (Mercedes) was inattentive. It took her 30 mins just to take my order from the bar for my drink and she didn’t even come around and ask us if we wanted any food/more drinks. Some of the people I was with last night actually went upstairs to another server and ordered their food because she was so slow and wasn’t showing any service to my group. I was in a group of 15 and there was probably about 50 more people downstairs. The server that was handling our area had no idea what she was doing. It seemed like she was overwhelmed. I don’t know if she is new or if she was having a off night but if she can’t manage a busy area, she shouldn’t be placed there. Please don’t get me wrong, she was nice but as consumers, we pay for a lot of a server living expenses. The service was really unacceptable for a Saturday night and at this point, I don’t know if I or my party will be back.

And they gave us last call at 1am....on a Friday?! Like why? Why have hours of operation advertised when you're just gonna hit the "kill switch" whenever it's slow. I really don't understand how this place has stayed open all this time. Word of advice, save yourself the trouble. We ended up downing our drinks & going else where.

I always check my bills and the last time I was here we got double charged instead of getting the bill split. I understand these things happen, but it seemed like no one knew what to do about it so I’m taking a star off for that. I had to do the math and let them know how much they owe me. I was 4 beers deep so the next day I re-calculated and realized I did not do the math right. Disappointing but *hit happens. Will try again in the future

Let me tell you what an experience it certain was. The food was delicious, the drinks were nice and cold and most importantly our waitress Jessica was phenomenal. She gave us the best restaurant experience anyone could ask for. Between checking in on us and making sure everything is was on point to her great energy we certainly has a blast. We will definitely be coming back for another amazing meal on date night and we will be asking for Jessica, we recommend you ask for her too!
