β β β β β DO NOT RENT THESE APARTMENTS!!
No responsibility taken by the resident manager!! I have been living here since november 2020 and itβs been a hell of a ride!! People above our apartment are jumping and dancing and playing loudest music almost everyday after midnight. We have complained so many times to the resident manager, Kaitlyn and all she says everytime is you wonβt have to worry they are moving out soon!! And I dont think they have even moved out!! Paying so much rent, you would want to be heard atleast!! No actions are taken and itβs impossible to sleep!! The management is really not worth it!! Have been emailing them again n again but no action at all!! Donβt know who else to take your concerns to

β β β β β The location is very good, the bus stop in front of the apartment is convenient to go to downtown. Chinese supermarkets, Korean supermarkets, and local supermarkets can be reached in about five minutes on foot. It takes about ten minutes to drive to IKEA, Costco and Outlets. A four-minute drive to The university of Manitoba. The apartment is clean and tidy, really comfortable to live in.
And staffs always respond to indoor maintenance needs in a timely manner.

β β β β β The fire alarm may go off at any time, and the fire alarm goes off frequently for no apparent reason. You may suddenly hear the fire alarm at 3 am or later, and it will make you nervous! I already feeling crazy about this. And the property manager Kaitlyn, She's so rude and I think she's racist. I knew a lot of people seemed to be complaining about her, but the company chose not to give any response to the question. I have lived here for almost three years. Our car was entered by a thief and stole many things on a Saturday midnight. But, When we asked the property manager (Kaitlyn) She replied that the monitor at the back happened to be broken, and cannot see who the thief was? And the car will also be towed in its own parking space, so why do we pay $75 per month for parking.

β β β β β The Onyx is a great place to live. Wonderful location, close to groceries, fantastic restaurants, conveniences, major bus routes, and the area is still being developed! It's nice to see all the new attractions coming to the area. The river walk is beautiful in the summer and fall. And if you have a dog, the area is wonderful for them to go exploring! You will encounter deer and other wild life.. St. Vital Park is just across the river. Lovely location. Highly recommend.

β β β β β My girlfriend and I lived at the Onyx for nearly a year with out small dog, we both enjoyed living there and loved how close it was to grocery stores and how easy it was to get around Winnipeg from Pembina. The apartments finished to a high standard, and friend always commented on how nice our apartment was. We both took full advantage of the gym, sauna and rooftop BBQ!
We both got on really well with the staff, and always stopped to talk to them, Kaitlyn the property manager seems to take a bad wrap on here but we honestly couldn't fault her, and thought she was always very approachable and really helped us out with anything that we needed.
Remember people are much more inclined to write a bad review than a good one, so take them with a pinch of salt. Be kind and courteous to people and you'll have a great experience!

β β β β β The Onyx is such a great place to live at. All the staff members are super friendly, answered all my questions. Kaitlyn helped me through the entire process and I am so happy to be living at the Onyx. Such great amenities. I love the rooftop patio and the fitness center especially. The building is well maintained and it is always very clean. The unit is very spacious and the appliances are top notch! I would recommend this building!!

β β β β β Building is located in an oasis area with all stores and parks around. Always clean and quiet hallways. Unit perfectly finished with top notch appliances. Game-zone is the favorite time-spending place for kids. A self-service office exists in the building which is very safe and easy way to scan/print papers if needed.
Latchmin the administrator kindly helped with the application and it took only a couple of days to move in. Staff is always responsive and friendly.
Love the Onyx!
