About Fort Garry Mennonite Brethren Church
Jesse has been attending Fort Garry since September of 2020 and started as the Interim Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries in March of 2022. Jesse enjoys making Scripture accessible and applicable to all people, whether that is in a sermon on Sunday morning or in curriculum for youth ministries. Before coming to Fort Garry, Jesse served for several years as a youth pastor at a church in the United States and spent a year serving with Mennonite Disaster Service. Jesse holds an undergraduate degree in youth ministry from Messiah College and will be graduating in April with a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from Canadian Mennonite University.
Jesse and his wife Kelsey were married in July of 2021 and the two of them currently live in the south end of Winnipeg. In his free time, Jesse enjoys reading, playing guitar, cheering for Philadelphia sports teams, and spending time outdoors.
