I didn't even get a chance to get all the way into the store before one of the female staff members PERFUME hit me right in the face, she had so much on I could hardly breath. The staff need to be more aware of the possibility of people with lung/breathing problems, I had to leave as I couldn't breath. You should NOT be wearing perfume when dealing with the general public !!!! ???

Friendly staff member Amal assisted with the purchase of a phone on a 2-year plan - he was very informative and knowledgeable of the process, and made sure that I was happy with the phone I had selected and its features compared to other options. Very pleased with the price, the phone case was included as a freebie and 50k PC points was a welcome bonus.

These guys are absolutely awesome. Massive depth of knowledge of all cell providers and plans as well as knowing hardware options. It's a one stop shop regardless of which network provider you're interested in. Highly recommended.

There is an update at the end of this initial review. I did not have a good experience with this store. Nice guys, but poor after-sales service. I went there expecting to get a new phone for my son, at a low price indicated over the phone by one of the techs at Shaw headquarters. Unfortunately, this store had only more expensive phones, which were more than my son needed. Strike 1. I went ahead and bought one anyway, and then I bought a phone guard, to protect the phone if it was dropped, and a screen saver that I was assured would protect the screen in case of an accident. I looked askance at how flimsy the screen saver looked, and wondered how such a flimsy thing could protect a screen, but I was assured it did offer protection. I reviewed the warranties (30 days at the store, one year after with the manufacturer), and left the store. The very next day my son put the phone gently down on its screen (silly, but he’s 8), and a corner of the screen saver broke. I brought it in for an exchange, but was told there is no warranty on the saver, just on the phone guard! I protested that the salesman did not make it clear that the warranty applied only to the guard, not the screen saver, but to no avail. Strike 2. Some time passed ... Then, I got the reply you can see following my review. I explained again what the problem was, got some platitudes about caring for customers, and a promise that the issue was to be escalated to a higher level, then heard nothing more. Update two years later (2022). The main reason to buy a new phone for my son was to allow him to use the house internet service to make phone calls outside the house, without having to purchase a phone plan. I was told by the people at The Mobile Shop that his existing phone was not good enough to allow a proper connection, that I needed to buy a new (better) phone. This turns out to be wrong information. We just now belatedly tried the old phone too, and it works just as well for phone calls outside the home. I am surprised that supposed experts in telephones did not know this. I am putting their incompetence as kindly as I can. I hesitate to believe that this was a deliberate ploy to sell unnecessary phones. Surely not. To the owner, please don't bother replying with your usual "We care, so please contact us at ...." response. You failed to follow up the first time, two years ago, and so I don't expect anything more useful this time.

Best place in town to get a phone and save money on your bill. They have Telus, Rogers, Bell, Virgin, Fido, Koodo and pretty much every other carrier. They also give you like $300 in points when you get a new phone
