Best Grocery store in Canada

M	M'hamed Benaissa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can find the impossible here. From halal chicken to couscous. They often run sale promotions. Flyers are displayed on the wall with all items on sale and for sale. Store have large selections from pasta sauce to pasta and from bread to croissant. I prefer to shop here better than Cosco or Walmart.

No wonder courtenay has highest of covid patients , that is a risk to all who shop there , and their prices ??? Is ridiculous same stuff can buy at walmart for cheaper and they won't let you ad match at superstore ??? They used to , the staff used to be nice as well , what happened to that ? I don't go there no more as I like to live my life and have God take me not ignorant people who think they are exempt from this pandemic .... Shame on all
K	K Rath on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t expect a lot when I shop at superstore but this is frequently one of the dirtiest grocery stores that I’ve ever been to. There has been no improvement since Covid started two years ago. Items are also frequently priced incorrectly or don’t make sense. For example, many things are labeled with Xl signs at the end of isles “2 for $3.00” when what they mean is buy two at the reduced price of $3.00 each. So- 2 for $6.00. The staff will then explained my second point, despite the sign being right in front of us. When you let customer service know, they first argued with me then once someone else heard the conversation they agree and say “we’ve told corporate but they don’t care and say it’s right.” As a customer I just want to know the prices. They have great spices for cooking so I do my best to only go to the store once every 6 months and get out quickly.

A	Adrian on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loblawsis a great grocery store lots of selection and really good prices. Many PC products are very good and unique. It's a great place to buy meat discounted it varies from day to day. They also have a large pharmacy.
P	Person S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The deli at superstore is terrible. I don’t know who works behind that counter but it’s someone unworthy of minimum wage. It’s happened before and I complained in person. I thought I would try again and I had the same result. They refuse to cut the rind off prosciutto. It’s not edible. I was given a bag of smushed together prosciutto slices that was 20% inedible rind. They just refuse to cut it off. They say they won’t do it and when I asked the first time he literally said “too bad” Thrifties cuts the rind off without even asking you. Know why? You’re supposed to. I would much rather go somewhere else and get better quality service than ever shop here again. It’s a waste of money. I’m terribly disappointed. I guess second chances really aren’t for everyone

I love how nice the staff are that bring the groceries out to your car for grocery pickup, but whoever shops for the grocery pickups is terrible at it. Sometimes, it will say something was unavailable on my order but if I go into the store after receiving my order, there's a literal ton of them fully stocked on the shelf. This happens more often if the order is bigger. In the store itself, I am often unimpressed with their lack of quality veggies and fruits, lots of almost-mouldy or shrivelled fresh items, and much of the time they are out of things that seem odd to run out of - like specific items you'd think not many people buy. Overall, it's a decent place to shop due to the variety of their fresh food section, though in the past I have had ground beef that had obvious chunks of cardboard in it (beware - you just never know - always check it). I did report it to main office but don't know what became of it after that. I try to buy my ground meats elsewhere, but sometimes just don't have the time to order from a butcher.
M	MANPREET KAUR on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn’t wanna say anything bad but just look at the pictures, gross,,, I went there on 12th of September and the bread with the complementary fungus on it , were expired as shown on 9th of September. Also, there was a grand party of mosquitoes ? going on in the watermelon ? cardboard. I forgot to take picture of that. I see flies roaming around all the time, but it’s okay.. I can’t make any changes right, just doing wht I can. I spent 100$ smthg after seeing all the bad stuff.
