Super duper friendly staff but not too overbearing which I liked, engaged in convo when we did but didn't push it when we just wanted to browse. Great selection of Lego sets and had a good stock of everything. I finally found the Ashoka Brick Heads which I've been after for ages so I'm very happy!

I had a horrible experience with Richmond Centre (Vancouver) Lego store today and it even made me cry. I felt that I was being treated differently. I am looking for mini-figures pink elephants from the building section for a long time because I need that to make a heart shape as a gift for a friend. So when I know the Lego Richmond store got restocked; I called at first time and double-checked. I asked if there has limited quantities to buy. The man who picked up my phone told me he can hold two packs for each person if come today, and if there still have some left and I can still have more if I want. I understood, so I came there as quickly as possible. But when I arrived, I've been told I only can have two packs today even there still have more. I saw the store have at least two big boxes of pink elephant mini-figures. I don't understand why he told me in the phone and in store is different, is because I have asian looking so when he saw me he changed his mind? Or is there has some particular customers they want hold for? I've never know the real reason for the behaviour that he had although they give me the reason is that they want more people to get this tho. However, even he wants more people to get is his willingness. There is no policy or reminder that customers can only get two packs of mini-figures per person per day. I understand it first come, first serve. 1. There is no policy or reminders that customers can only get 2 packs mini-figures from the building section per person and per day. 2. Changed what he said When I arrived, was that discrimination when he saw particular appearance? 3. Is there have some other customers he prefers that want to hold products for them? I had a horrible experience with this store today really. (He insists that he never said if there more I still buy them today. However, the conversion happens in half an hour, I remember what I said and what he said.)

Great customer service and a huge selection of Lego car & Star Wars models (both are very popular!). We were able to find a red Ferrari model for a friend who loves Lego :).

This is my go to Lego store. Staff is super friendly and always helpful. Also they usually have a lot of the hard to find ones. Never had bad experience and I have never seen a grumpy staff on duty. Also the manager of store sometimes will email you a thank-you for shopping here and if you reply asking a question. The manager actually does reply even if it’s question where can I get a jpeg background of the Disney castle display….

This is an item you would normally associate with kids, with children, but LEGO has been very smart at looking past that segment and introduced models for essentially all ages and genders. The store at Richmond Centre demonstrates this clearly. Yes, there were a lot of kids playing with the toys there, or with their parents buying them parts or full sets, but teenagers and young adults were also seen there purchasing the bigger sets. The variety is amazing, LEGO has sets for most of the relevant brands (adidas Superstar sneaker), series (Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc.), and cultural icons (Titanic). Our stay in the store was supposed to be a short one, we ended up staying longer, and eventually came back to pick up a few more items. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Wide range of prices (from a few dollars to hundreds depending on the intricacy of the set). Whether you are into LEGO or not, a visit to this store is highly recommended! All ages!

Really interesting place. This place is like a magnet to the kids in the family. It’s a busy place, so it would be wise to pick the right time to come, especially if you need help. Generally well stocked, the staff is really helpful and the kids love the interactions with the younger staff. We once came with our grandson when a young staff member who was interested in rockets was working on the floor. He was very patient and generous with his time and our grandson had a great time discussing his ideas of rockets too. We don’t always know what the kids already have, so we ask for the latest sets on the floor, to avoid duplication and exchanges etc. We can always find something interesting for a quiet reasonable price. It is fun to be here, especially with a 10 year old and I will recommend this place to anyone young at heart.
