Four stars, here is why: Selection of items in the shop is vast, deserves 5 stars. I visited the shop today and purchased the collectors edition Star Wars AT-AT, model 75313. A 1000 $ set. Asked a sales rep if they have the model in stock, he said yes. OK, can I please have one? Sure... Sales guy disappeared. Minutes later I recognized a large box at the cashier desk, sales rep invisible. After another couple minutes I asked the cashier if this box is an AT-AT? She replied yes. That's the one I asked for? She said yes, most likely. I was confused but asked to bill me. I have to inform you, she said, that if you return this item, a 10% restocking fee will apply. 100 dollars to put this back in your stock, I asked? Yes. You will not see this set again I said. But the experience was already completely ruined. And the sales guy was still invisible. Three stars! For a purchase of such a costly item I expected a bit more attention and more than presenting a box paper block with the hand written note: AT-AT on the side. I took some selvie shoots with this large LEGO bag in my hand to document the milestone. I give four stars still, because another sales rep was on site. At a previous visit I had a large exchange with that gentleman about different sets and the build experience. He was very informed about details, we exchanged about the difficulties on building various sets, he guided me to some challenging LEGO technic sets that might poke my patience and brain. A sales guy with passion for the products he presents and he knew his stuff. Not like the guy who "sold me" the AT-AT. I am still proud to own one of the most iconic LEGO sets ever designed. But the sales staff involved made it look more like I purchased some replacement batteries. You cannot treat customers willing to spend that money like this.

Great selection, staff, and service. Love this shop and of course the product itself —that my wife and I have continued to enjoy since we were kids :)

Staff is always helpful here. The pick-a-brick usually has a few pieces I really like. Lego is very pricy in general, but this location is great.

I went in to buy and then returned to return the item. Both times there was a surplus of employees on the floor and yet none of them came to the register when they saw me standing there and instead gave the excuse “I’m not on cash”. Seemed weird to have 2 people watching the door and no one on cash? When I came in to return the set, I was told only one person can process returns and exchanges. Ok, I don’t mind waiting. But it took me 10 minutes to get into the store because of the line and then was waiting at the register for the supervisor to come out. When she did eventually come out from the back she immediately began ringing through another employees purchase and they were really taking their sweet time with it. No sense of urgency whatsoever even though I had been waiting for a good amount of time. Finally one of the people at the door came to the cash and said “this seems like its going to take a while, I’ll process the return”. So it wasn’t even true that one person could perform the task?? I think its weird that they make you wait so long to purchase etc. even though there are tons of employees waiting around on the sales floor and then they ask you to fill out a survey on your experience?? I don’t fault the sales people, clearly the company mandates specific positions on the floor, but if it isn’t busy, people should be allowed to leave their post and help anyone who is waiting.

This store is fine. Picks a brick wall rarely has anything exciting, store is decently stocked, however I find there are too many employees to the customers allowed in the store ratio and you often find yourself bumping into all of them. There is also ONLY 2 categories the staff members fall into 1. Very informative and educated on past present and future lego sets and very friendly or 2. When speaking to you often not looking at you or trying to rush the conversation or pushing past you without using proper manners….

I dropped by the store during my trip. I was very happy as I do not have the store in my province. I was lucky enough that pick-a-brick is available. So, I could pick some pieces for my building project. The store is located inside the mall. It is quite convenient to travel here.
