This Home Depot has one of the best water feature sculptures you've ever seen at the corner of their parking lot. 5 stories high. Only problem is that it hasn't been functional for years. 4, maybe 5 star rating if they get it fixed. Until then, you get 2 stars Home Depot.

I ordered a deck box here online for in store pick up. They were showing 4 in stock. I never got an email on the day I was supposed to pick up (5 days later) so I called the store before driving down and they confirmed they had it and I could come now. When I got there they couldn’t find it and agreed when they did locate it they would ship it to me without a shipping fee. I agreed and that seemed like a good solution. Then I got a call saying they found several boxes but the packaging was damaged however they said they checked the boxes and they were fine. They offered a discount and I agreed. I was told I would get it on the Saturday or the Monday. By Sunday I get an email saying my order has been cancelled and refunded. I wait around until Monday to see if it arrives and it doesn’t. I have to call the store multiple times to get through to someone. The employee I talked to at the store was apologetic and friendly. They say they fixed the situation and reordered the item and that it would come that night by 8pm. I then get a voicemail at 7:15pm asking if they can deliver tomorrow instead. I call back twice but no one answers. The deck box finally arrived on Tuesday. The packaging was damaged as expected but it was never opened to check if the box was fine which I was told it was. Not surprisingly the item was damaged. I played phone tag again trying to reach someone. I was told I would get a call back. My husband eventually forced the bent pieces together so that we wouldn’t have to deal with the store anymore. I called and told them. 3 hours later they call back to say they found other parts they will send out. The employee I told that we had made it work never communicated that to the previous employee. Serious communication issues here. Everyone was friendly and polite though.

Had a great experience at this store .I shop here 4 to 5 days a week for work. Came in on a very busy sat to get flooring. Skid was up high on rack. Found Liza in flooring she took over ran around found lift truck and loaded me up. Then I needed saw again she went got another skid brought down with saw. She was just so pleasant and helpful. I have never had such a pleasant person to help. The store should have Liza training the rest of the staff she sure is a leader.i make sure to go see her every time im in the store

If your running a business this is probably the worst place to rely on. Several times an order has been placed and no one can find it; taking an hour of waiting. This time, my order was taken and put back into my account 5x over a few days, with my order being over 2 weeks late, being told by multiple employees they didn't know what was going on and that it would have to be disputed higher up. Then receiving an email stating my order is NOW ready for pick up - I go the next day and they cannot find it, like usual. I've now been waiting 45 mins, this may top the length for time waited. They should probably consider better training for their inability to process and fulfill high demand orders. Edit: since I cannot reply to your response, that is clearly just a robot or saved speech.. but why would I need to have a conversation over emails when I've spent countless time IN store ! I am clearly not the only unsatisfied customer as your reviews are pretty bad. You should consider, retraining and maybe even some upgrades to better address errors on your behalf. How can someone rely on you to keep up with their business if you cannot even keep up with your own needs? I don't think the problem or time needs to be put into another conversation, rather into the company you're running, horribly.

Did not receive a good service at this location I will stay away from the Cambridge location it's very hard to return an open item, the manager is not willing to work and resolve a legit matter instead he rather lose a client or customer of Home Depot. Keep it up.

Came in the other day to grab some stuff for our patio and had an amazing experience with Rachel! She was so helpful and friendly and answered every single one of my questions, it was the easiest shopping I've ever done. Some really hardworking employees you guys have - great job all around! Next time I come by, I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for her when I need a hand!

It was my first time at this Home Depot location, and it was a terrible experience. I came here because on the website, it said that they had an item available that they didn't have at the Home Depot where I live (Guelph). After several minutes, I found an employee, and I asked him for help. He said that I would send someone over to assist me. I waited 12 minutes, and no one showed up. While still waiting, I found another employee, and I asked him for help. He immediately called for someone to come to help me who had the knowledge in that specific area. I waited about 5 minutes this time and finally showed up. Unfortunately, they didn't have the knowledge that I needed. They found the item that I was looking for but couldn't find a part that goes with it. Instead, they give me the information of another store located in Waterloo where I can find it. If I wanted that, I would have gone straight to a different business where I could find everything in one place. What a waste of time and gas driving here, which nowadays is very expensive due to the high gas prices. Unfortunately, they didn't have the item at the Guelph Home Depot, where their employees are more helpful and caring. I will not even bother to check this store even online... For me, it is not worth it, and I will not recommend it.

The store is a bit clutered. Some of the shelves were not fully stocked or at the least well organized. I shopped in the paint department, I was happy the item I wanted was available. The employee at the paint counter was polite but not overly friendly. At the cash counter, the cashier was very nice and quite helpful. Overall: atmosphere/cleanliness of the store 3 β˜† and customer service 4 β˜†
