★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wife needs to go here everytime we go to cottage. It's pretty good. Sometimes people are sweet as pie, other times it a bit like the soup Nazi. We say there is a nice twin and evil twin. It's kind of entertaining. It's a chip stand, friendliness isn't that important.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are Covid conscience, then this may not be the place for you, as the workers do not wear masks at all and still leave condiments out for customer use. They do however no longer let you inside anymore, so it’s outside pickup window only. Food is alright and prices are decent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looks like it would have been delicious. Like all things in cottage country, assume things close for fall winter. This is one of them. Other things that don't happen in this weather was swimming in the lake. But we went swimming. It was great. One day will taste the fries.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little place on the east side of highway 35. Come for the fish and chips, stay for the Kawartha dairy dessert.
I've been coming here since I was a child, place is run by the same, very friendly people. Always a joy to eat in the outdoors on the bench overlooking the lake (sort-of).
Check out the photos for this place, you can see their menu. Don't think it's changed much since the 90s. These folks are making a few different things really, really well.
