★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went whale watching which was awesome. Stayed overnight in a cabin on the boardwalk and had dinner at the restaurant. Cabin was rustic and comfortable and the seafood and steak was outstanding. I highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Geordie, his family and staff amongst the resort were wonderful. The stores, boardwalk and atmosphere will take you back in time and create lasting, heartfelt memories. Highly recommended for anyone in BC and abroad. The tour and adventures are incredible. Wildlife is abundant... nat geo meet real life!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute tourist village with an elevated boardwalk, shops and restaurant located in an area lush withwildlife! Saw orca pods, flying salmon, porpoises, and more! We rented a cabin on the marina and saw the otters play and snack from our window. One day we even saw a black bear casually much on a fish it caught! Wonderful trails nearby and a lot to explore. The cabin was a bit run down, very worn and the roof starting to sag: the location/situation is what brings the rating higher.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing small village you have to walk through! Dock access, park your vehicle in a parking lot (hotel, public, etc) then start walking around!
Check out the small building with their labels of historical facts.
Look at the Harbour and grab a coffee or even ice cream while you enjoy the view and slow pace in the town.
Tours can be booked in town prior to your arrival.
Easy day trip from Port Hardy or Port McNeil.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although we didn't stay here. We did look at the pricing and location to see if it met our needs. Sadly, after visiting for a day, we were glad we didn't stay. The buildings in the marina look very tired and uncared for. The marina looks old, wood rotten and needs some upkeep and replacement. The water around the docks could use some clean up too. The rooms looked clean and well kept, but for the price, it is nothing special. The museum is cool, with some awesome whale skeletons. I guess you are paying for the location. The fishing is outstanding and there are lots of marine life in the area to amaze you! There are many locations not too far away with better amenities.

Our cabin was rustic and no TV ( great to relax) clean and cozy ?
You should definitely try their waffles and cinnamon buns!
? watching was great too!
So lucky we got to see so many !
Definitely we will go back! ❣

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Camped two nights and then one night in a cabin on the boardwalk. Nice campground- beautiful walk to the cove. Friendly and helpful campground managers. Spent the afternoon at the Whale Interpretive Center. It was very cool with a variety of skeletons. The cabin is cute. So much history as you walk the boardwalk.
