M	Miamiyami on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fishing, boat rentals available, lots of quad trails and different cabin and tent options to suit everyone's likes. Did I mention an on-site pony ? and resident bunnies ??:)They've got showers available for tent campers, too!
A	Alisha on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very clean. Fabulously friendly staff. Plenty of activities and amenities. I tented for 5 days and am already looking forward to going back. Some reviews have mentioned too many rules or not liking they can't play music but I greatly appreciated not being able to hear anything but nature and people chatting around their campfires. Sounds travel easily here, being in a small valley and across the water. The peaceful atmosphere was perfect in every way.
J	Jon Ross on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have stayed here several times over the last almost 20 years and have had good experiences and good memories, But unfortunately this time my experience was not so good I booked my trip at the beginning of October at that time I asked about reserving a boat since the hole point of my trip was to fish for the weekend I was told that there was no need for a reservation and also if I reserved and didn't use the boat or canceled trip that there was no refunds so just rent the boat when we arrive . We arrived late Thursday night and woke Friday morning and headed to rent a boat only to find out they had put the boats away for the year , i asked if the could pull a boat out etc but nope no boat we explained the hole point of the trip was to fish and if I knew there was no boats I would of brought one or I would of planned something differnt , well fishing was out of the question we inquired about the fire pits that are normally at the cabins atleast if I couldn't fish I figured have a fire for weekend relax but was told those were put away too. Long story short I decided to leave and found another place close by I was able to fish I spent less then 12 hours there and was charged for 3 days of a cabin. Had someone called knowing we tried to reserve a boat and told us that the boats weren't available this could of turned out differnt and I dont feel being charged forn3 days was fare.
R	Reggie Bains on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in one of the larger cabins. I was greeted by the friendly staff at the office, once we arrived. I had to make a change to the occupancy of our cabin. No issues. I asked about the snow mobile trails and access to them. I was shown the areas where we could travel on the resort with our machines and also given a map of the local trails around the Lake. No issues. Once we got to the cabin, it was clean and warm. Within an hour some friendly employees came by split and stacked a huge amount of firewood on the porch for us to use in the woodstove. Great place to stay. Will return for a summer stay, to check out the lake.
S	Shari T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a wonderful place. Prices are a bit high on cabins but that's cause they have facilities and running water fully loaded and clean. The lake is great for fishing boat and off one of the 3 docks. Kids fish size off docks and an 11 inch casting on far end of the lake. I really liked that the mosquitoes weren't frequent a few here or there but wasn't needing to load up on bug spray. Bring though! Also NO dogs allowed. Don't be upset when you see the owners dogs there.
J	Jeff T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Due to the resent flooding of the roads and hyws in the lower mainland we could not travel to the resort. we have asked to reschedule something down the road in a couple of months time. ( when either the #1 or #5 reopen) unfortunately they wouldn't allow us to do so but also said they will be keeping the deposit (which is fairish )and charging the full amount for the cabins (which is complete BS) We will never return to mile high resort again and ill make dame sure non of my friends and family will either
J	Jeff Dickson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spoke to Mary and she confirmed that we could rent 3 cabins for 2 nights. Told her I would confirm with other family's on the dates. She was very nice. Spoke to my kids and got them excited as well as made plans with the rest of the family's. Called back to complete payment and confirm and the male there said Mary was wrong and that we had to rent it for 4 nights. Wish Mary would have told us prior to making arrangements and speaking to everyone. Very disappointing.
R	Robert Hale on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed for three nights in cabin 5. We loved the cabin and its rustic feel. Basic necessities were available including dishes and some cleaning supplies. It was super cold during our stay (-34c) but the cabin was toasty warm. We tried to venture out to snowshoe and do some tobogganing. Unfortunately it was too cold to stay out long so we spent some quality time as a family playing games and enjoying our time together. We were surprised that we had cell service. We are on Shaw and the one son is on Bell. The other son was on Telus and had no service. We only found a couple of things that would have made our stay perfect....a bigger table (or one with expansion sleeves). Games and meals were a little tight on the small table in the cabin. Perhaps some extra garbage bags would be helpful as well. Other than that, I think we have found a new place to explore again. Maybe next time when its not so darn cold.
