E	Ellen Melvin Walsh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent a relaxing 4 nights in the Grand Chalet with the family in December and couldn’t have asked for better. The hot tub was perfect on those cold nights, we played pool in the games room and even managed to get in a skate on the ice in the bay. The chalet was decorated beautifully for Christmas and we felt relaxed and right at home. Thanks Melissa and Kevin for creating such a pleasant place for us to get away.

Kayaka, canoeing, floaties, water trampoline, pool, and lots lots more. Check out everything and plan your trip! Have a blast and the best glamping experience. The owners are wonderful.
m	mike on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ EDIT -- Saw the response, this was our first visit not second so you may have me confused with someone else. Also all of us staying here were not mistaken, the pool table is definitely slanted. I had hoped it would be fixed as I had seen it commented on before we booked but it was still on a slant. Stayed at the Grand Chalet this fall. This place says it's luxury on the website, and the living room and dining room definitely feel nice. However the bathrooms (pretty old) and second and third bedrooms leave something to be desired, and there are several things keeping this from becoming luxury rental (and even in non luxury places you still expect things to be clean and in a good state of repair.) Positives -using the game room was fun, and enjoyed using the hot tub and fire pit - living and dining room were quite nice Negatives -the pool table was on a slant -spider webs in several bedrooms -bedroom where ceiling meets wall needed to be fixed up -king ensuite bathroom smelled slightly of sewage -main bathroom toilet and fridge both leaked -main bathroom was fairly dusty/dirty (behind toilet, baseboards, etc) We wouldn't stay here again until these issues were addressed.
C	Catherine Catherine on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in "The Grand Chalet" This beautiful cottage sleeps 8 and was so comfortable. There is wifi, a Smart TV with Netflix, YouTube and others. It has a big fire place that we didnt try out but maybe on our next trip since they do Winter get aways as well. There is a laundry room right in the cottage that is so convenient and easy to use. The king size bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and the bed was so big and comfy! The bonfires were super relaxing as well. They had a couple of kayaks to use and they were great! The lake is part of the Rideau canal system and was so relaxing! Great sunsets! Fishing off of the 2 docks was a lot of fun. There is a pool table in the games room. They provided other games as well. The owners are a young couple that have just taken over the campgrounds and are just starting out but they were very friendly and accommodating. We extended our stay with no issues. We intend on going back if they arent booked up next year. We would recommend this place to others looking for comfort, relaxation and a serene, quiet environment to vacation in.

I stayed here for a couple of nights with a small group and we stayed in the Grand Chalet, it was a cute cottage with a good amount of space for a larger group.There is a games room when you walk in with a pool table, dart board and connect 4 along with extra games. The views are amazing from both cottages and they have many options of outdoor activities available on site such as kayaking and volleyball. There is also a few docks that have an amazing view of the water. Both cottages have a hot tub and a fire pit which were a relaxing way to end the night. Located in a more private location, grocery stores and other stores are located within a short drive from the site. Owners are very helpful and easy to get along with, we will definitely be returning soon.
N	Nathaniel Chow on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful spot for a peaceful weekend getaway. There are plenty of activities including kayaking, volleyball, and the outdoor hot tub was great in the evening. The Grand Chalet was spacious enough for our group of 7. Kevin was easy to communicate with - we needed a bit of extra time for checkout and he was very accommodating. Be careful with your volleyball as errant hits might end up with your ball in the water!
L	Lonnie Berry on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in the Grand Chalet for a week in August 2021. Keven and Melissa were wonderful hosts. They were very helpful and responsive to any questions or requests that we had. The cottage was very comfortable and had a lot of cool features like a games room, disco lights and a coffee bar. The lake was a bit weedy for my taste but the pool was a wonderful addition and we used it quite often. The private hot tub was also very nice. There were lots of great activities available. We enjoyed the outdoor movie night and kayaking. I would recommend more lounge chairs at the beach area to accommodate the number of guests that could be at the resort at any given time. I enjoyed going down to the beach area to look at the lake and read my book. I would definitely recommend this resort to couples and families as a fun and relaxing get away.
