About Riverbend Campground
If you switched from http to https, then the number of facebook shares & likes may not display correctly anymore. That’s because when a user likes/shares a page, the specific URL gets liked/shared, so if the URL changes (e.g. due to a switch to https) then the counts show 0 again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called this place about parking long term. Unfortunately they are full and have a waiting list but even before i could get on the list i was asked the year of my trailer. Apparently anything older than 2000's models are unacceptable. She would not tell me why and basically hung up on me. Real nice. Pretty cool that a trailer park thinks they are Beverley hills. What a joke

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love my time spent at riverbend. Staff are very accommodating and try to make everybody happy and enjoy the camping experience. Very geared toward children and families, have been taking my grandson there since before he was 3 and he loves it there, owner are great with him especially Auntie Kim. Lots to do in the summer fom magic shows to bingo. come on down but book early very popular campground. Thanks Kim and Marilyn looking forward to the summer

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the worst campground I have ever been to, we had booked a spot where we could see the lake view, and when we got to the campground, the office had said we had called in and cancelled. If we had cancelled our lovely campsite then where is our refund? There where absolutely no money that went back into our cards. And when we looked around the campground, there was some people in it. A little suspicious isn’t it.
Everything there is really expensive too, the renting of the boats, golf carts, things they’re selling in the office and the mini golf rentals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an exceptional campground. No wonder they won a tripadvisor award. The washrooms are of the cleanest I have ever seen at a campground. Lots of amenities, multiple playgrounds, full hookups, couldn't ask for a better spot. Its right outside okotoks, but the drive down to the site makes it feel like you are far away from any civilization.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice setting close to a lot of towns. Wouldn’t expect a nice little lake. The year round sites do dominate the campground and clearly no restrictions here as some are pretty “no rules homemade” looking. Does take away from the prettiest of the overall site. Camped slightly off season and mid week so easier to get in I can’t imagine what it would be like to get during true season. Overall I’d come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This campground is close to home yet feels far away which makes for a great getaway. If you can request a spot on the lagoon the sunsets are fantastic and come with full hookups. You also see a surprising amount of wildlife like deer, mallards and I believe a beaver/otter. Sorry I don't know the difference.
It is one of our favorites and I'm reluctant to share because it is so hard to get into campgrounds but Marilyn and team do a fantastic job and deserve the kudos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really like Riverbend campground. The office staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. When we come out here we usually have a group of three or four of us... They are always very helpful to make sure that we're all together. Washrooms and showers are very clean. Firewood is reasonably priced. Very peaceful out here lots of nature and birds. I also really love the water fountain with the colors.
