★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the Thanksgiving special. Gravy was over spiced or something. The chicken was weird as the wing on it was dried to to jerky and gross. Stuffing was bland. The pumpkin pie was almost frozen solid as they served it to me!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there for thanksgiving. We were served pink chicken and stopped eating. The waitress and the manager argued with us that it's cooked !!!! Are they for real? Nope. We left.
We went to walmart and got a roasted chicken. It's fully cooked and no one argued with me!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By far the worst experience I've had in any Swiss chalet. The server was rushing us through the entire meal, constantly hovering and shoved the food at us when she brought it. Restaurant was empty so why the need to rush?! Bill was brought with dessert so no chance for coffee after. When she brought the machine she leaned over and watched as we filling in our info. It had asked if we had a good service and since her face was almost right next to mine when filling it out we were forced to say yes! We will never return due to the rude behavior of this staff member.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mom at at swiss chalet and her salad was the worst served old out date oil and the taste made her gag and she also order 2.99 sweet potatoes fries and the sauce was expired they admitted to serve expired food charge 6.99 instead of 2.99 and would not understand the customer problem and the new manager would not help to fix the issue only make money this 17st and 40 ave should be shut down sell expired food to make the public sick don't eat there

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I can give a 0 star, I would've. This is the worst experience I had in a restaurant. I've worked in this industry in the past so I know how to treat servers properly. I know the hard work they put in so I have high respect to my fellow F&B folks. Not with this one though. My family went for dinner to celebrate my sister in law's graduation last Friday Nov 19, 2021 at this location, being the closest to CDI college.
The server was rude, rushed and condescending. Thats all I can say.
Althrough out the dinner, her mood and attitude was the same!
Never going back here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 1/4 chicken dinners with soup were great. Low rating comes from some disgusting policies that are in place.
They advertise that CAA members get a free appy or dessert if you show your CAA card at the time you order. This is only applicable if you order 2 regular items from their menu according to their ad in the fine print.
Not true really. If you order 2 of 1/4 chicken dinners you get one free app or dessert with your card but if you add soup to your meal at the "Bundled" price that is listed on their regular menu you no longer get the App or Dessert free with your CAA card.
Does this sound petty and despicable. It is. You order a side at their Bundled price and they penalize you for taking advantage of their offered discount price. This is on the edge of false advertising and is a pathetic practice. Offering something and then searching for an excuse not to provide what you offered or advertised is very common in Canada. I am sad it is happening at Swiss Chalet.
