The staff and offices are very nice. However we had major issues with their handling of information. We showed up at surrey memorial hospital, in labor, approximately two weeks after our visit there to find that none of our medical information had arrived at the hospital (across the street)!! SPNC seems to have a number of issues they would need to work out before getting a better rating, or a return visit from my family. To all patients going there, beware, the diligence will likely fall on your shoulders.

This is my third baby and dr. Smith is the best maternity doctor I've found. They wait may be long but she listens to detail and acts on any important appointments that need to be made. I had no idea I had a rare blood disorder. Dr. Smith got me into vgh to see a genetics councilor immediately to figure out what I had. In turn she decided I have a chance of being high risk for all pregnancies. I moved to Poco and even tho I explained my situation to the port moody maternity they just didn't care nore was I assigned 1 doctor I got 6 so I had to re-explain myself every visit. Because of this I'm now day 3 in the hospital. The doctors and nurses at surrey memorial asked why the doctors in port moody haven't followed up with more detailed ultrasounds due to my high risk profile. So for those who have a problem waiting an hour to see the doctor in Surrey, just don't they are working hard and know what they are doing plus an hour isn't that long compared to other specialist who can make you wait up to 4 hours. I'm 33 weeks and I'm having all my files transferRd to surrey from port moody because of their excellence. I feel it's worth the 2 hr bus ride because I know I'm in good hands.

I am a little disappointed because I have never seen the practitioner that my family doctor referred me. They also do not warn in advance that the doctor is not there and does not ask if we accept to see someone else. However the first woman doctor I saw was very well ... very human, the appointment you follow I had another one that could not answer my question about a drug previously prescribed by my family doctor. what I find unfortunate is that we do not know how to weave a link with our doctor there since never seen in a pregnancy it is important to feel listened and followed and not be a number ... I have changed doctor, and hospital ... and you can wait a long time even you have your appointment...

Never waited long nd all the staff are very friendly. If you find are waiting a long time try and think the doctor could be delivering a baby ! I understand it's frustrating but not a reason to give such poor reviews. They are a very busy place, we spent our whole pregnancy there and now going for our first check up . I would recommend them to friends and family for future

It's a busy clinic since there are a bunch of different services running out of the same space. My longest wait was about 45 minutes long and i could tell they were extra busy that day. Otherwise - we always got in fairly promptly. The receptionists were always helpful. We've mostly seen Dr.Abbott whom we love. Shes very thorough, supportive and takes the time to listen to your concerns. When she was away we also saw Dr. Yager and Dr. Thamboo. Both compassionate and competent doctors who took care of us well. They have a great team and we enjoyed having our pregnancy journey there.

Prepare to wait a VERY long time for each appointment. I've waited anywhere from 30 min to over an hour. That being said, Dr. Abbot is absolutely amazing! Super caring and willing to answer any questions which was great for a first time mom. She ended up being at the hospital for the delivery amd when I had to have a surprise c section she was very comforting and straightforward about it. I loved her, it was a bit of a difficult pregnancy and she made it so much easier. She really cares about your physical and mental health, as well as the baby.

The clinic has been absolutely fabulous so far! I was told by others there's always long wait but every appt so far I'm in on time and never had to wait at all. Front desk and doctors were all super nice and answer any questions I had. You definitely don't see the same doctors every appt because so far I've seen 5 different one but each and every one of them are still very helpful. Dr. Wittmann did my ultrasound and explain everything to me and made me feel really confrontable and super funny. I definitely recommend this clinic to anyone.

First time at the Surrey Prenatal Clinic and despite the negative reviews, the service far exceeded my expectations. The clinic was not extremely busy, maybe 10 other patients already seated by 9.30am. The Indian receptionist (Jas, I think) at the prenatal booking station was very friendly and explained all things necessary. I can't speak for any other receptionists because there are so many for the other doctors. My appointment was with Dr Pinsky at 9.45am, but I was not seen until 10am (which was fine compared to other comments with long wait times). Dr Pinsky was really efficient, friendly, thorough and as a patient I was not rushed and felt truly cared for. Overall, a really pleasant first time experience!
