★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well this has been the worst stay I have ever had at a Best Western or any major chain hotel. Firstly being a gold member I Recieved no water or welcome snack as stated in the benefits. Hey no big deal though, I can get water. However during our 4 night stay we Recieved room service 1x. We aren't dirty people and we are gone all. Day back late at night because we are visiting family while here. We don't expect much but you know it would be nice to come in and new towels, toiletries and garbages emptied. I had to call 2 nights during our stay asking for the basic essentials. The people easantly brought them when asked however since when are we not cleaning stay overs? I worked in the hotel industry and I get being short people like everywhere now however you see how many check ins are coming and how many stay overs. When short you strip linen from checkouts, empty garbage but then leave the room if not needed off market "dirty". Then make sure. Your stay overs are taken care of which are easy. Most times you never have to do much. When your paying 100 plus a night, I expect better. In 20 years plus of travelling for work And pleasure I have never ever had a room I have stayed in. It cleaned.
Very disappointed in this hotel as in the past we have had a good experience. We won't be staying here again and I recommend anyone not wanting to be disappointed by the BW brand so the same and stay elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spacious, clean rooms. Beds aren't the comfiest and our room smelled like cigarettes, plus the milk and yogurt were expired at continental breakfast. But 3 of us stayed for $130 so u really get what u pay for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’d definitely stay here again. The lady at the front desk was very warm and welcoming and priced the room at par with our usual app of choice. The room was nicely updated with some modern touches, low highway noise and a tasty breakfast to go it’s a good choice when passing through Castlegar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect place for to stay on your travel to and from the coast. Rooms are not the biggest but are in a really good shape, beds are awesome and the shower is something that makes the difference, not one of those water saving heads you find in other hotels! Oh, and the staff is super friendly!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room was a mix of modern and outdated features. They made the best of the space when it came to the kitchenette. Though there was more space for improvement.
The lady at checkout time was very friendly. Even letting me get a last minute plate of breakfast as she was packing it up

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to male a unplanned stay in Castelgar and looked for something cheap , for just over 100 bucks this place was definitely worth the price ! Rooms are modern, clean and large. Small continental breakfast with cereal, bagels , eggs, fresh waffles , juice, yogurt etc was great also! Bed was good and 4 Large pillows, a fridge a microwave and list goes on! If you need a great big clean cheap room you won't be disappointed staying here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall, pretty good. Rooms were clean but a bit small. Kitchenette was very basic. Bathroom was nice and clean. Lots of big trucks in the parking lot but clientele was quiet for our stay. Continental breakfast was basic but ok. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Would consider staying here again. Good value if anything.
