I dealt with Alvis who's professionalism and honesty set the bar high for my experience there.. Upfront setting expectations along the way and keeping me informed of when my mew order would arrive. When i came time to drive my new vehicle away... I was guided along with the same honesty and professionalism .. I had a great experience at Hyundai. Found the exact car I was looking for, Customer service rep. Munesh handled me very well. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles there, kind and knew just what I wanted based on my interests. I walked out happily and appreciate the great customer service.

BUYER BEWARE: My wife and I recently purchased a brand new 2022 Hyundai Tuscon N-line. During the initial test drive, we fell in-love with the vehicle! Upon returning to the dealership, we met with our Sales rep Alvis who began walking us through the proper paperwork to begin our purchase. After completing the paperwork, we were excited to drive away with our newly purchased vehicle. However, we were told that we were unable to drive our new vehicle home because it was the only one of its kind on their dealerships lot and due to a policy from Hyundai Canada, they must keep one make of every model on display. We were initially told that it would take them a few weeks to get another one of its kind delivered. Disappointed but understanding, as we knew of the current economic hardships in the auto industry, my wife and I returned home to wait for the next few weeks until we were able to retrieve our new vehicle. A few weeks quickly turned into a couple months, and what was frustrating was that we received no updates from the dealership or our sales rep. We had to consistently call to find where the vehicle was, and with each phone call there was more excuses and confusion. Finally, after nearly 2 months past the expected delivery time, my wife and I were able to take home our new vehicle. Unfortunately, this excitement was short lived. A few days ago (while parked in our driveway) the front passenger side window spontaneously exploded after my wife closed the rear passenger door. There was no prior damage, nothing had struck the window, and our surveillance camera showed zero individuals around the vehicle prior to the explosion. We immediately called Superior Hyundai to inform them of the incident. We were told that they would have to send the claim into their warranty department and that it MAY be covered, or at least some of it. This car has less than 1000km’s on it, we only had it for 3 weeks and you “may” be able to fix it?! Furious, I began calling all the local glass repair shops in town to find out that all the glass for our particular vehicle was back ordered for an estimated 3 weeks! So now were down another vehicle for an ESTIMATED 3 weeks but, given their track record, I expect it to be much longer. After 4 days of waiting Hyundai’s Sales manager Victor Chan finally contacted us with an update stating that they would cover the window as a “good will gesture” given how new the vehicle was, however, they were unable to provide a rental car because they had nothing available on their lot. What we and so many of our friends and family didn’t understand was that; how was an obvious defect on Hyundai’s behalf, on a brand-new vehicle, that was owned only for a couple of weeks, not automatically assumed to be covered on “bumper to bumper warranty”! Why are they trying to consider it as a “good will gesture”, meaning that it would not actually be covered? I began to explain to them that driving in -30 weather while its snowing with nothing but a garbage bag as a window is unsafe for 1 and 2 is not feasible given the conditions. Victor showed little to no concern that this causes a serious safety issue because I can no longer see the passenger side mirror or out of the passenger side window for that matter. In addition, Victor failed to see how extensive this incident could’ve been, had we been driving down the highway and the window spontaneously exploded on my wife or myself! Had this incident been more extensive, I wouldn’t been calling Superior Hyundai for assistance, I would be contacting my lawyer. We have been loyal customers to Hyundai for about 8 years now and have always advocated for their quality vehicles and customer service. Unfortunately, after this experience with Superior Hyundai, it is clear that they are more concerned with selling vehicles than ensuring their customers are safe and appreciated for their service. This will be the last time I deal with Hyundai when purchasing a vehicle.

I purchased a 2011 Hyundai sonata and it came in impeccable shape. I noticed a small issue with the exhaust and brought it in and they checked it out and fixed it at no cost. Definitely worth it purchasing my car here knowing that there was a comprehensive check and if anything were to go wrong I had a 6 month power train warranty. Thanks and I look forward to being a customer for a long time!

I purchased my second Santa Fe from Superior Hyundai. The service and attention to detail that Ryan S. gave was better then 5 stars. It took a bit of time to find me the right vehicle but Ryan always kepted me in the loop. George B. he was amazing friendly, understanding of my needs. These 2 gentlemen went above and beyond my expectations. Outstanding customer service.Thank you both.

Superior Hyundai and their team were very professional and not pushy at all. Alvis, George, and Bob all made buying my first vehicle very smooth and easy. I feel like I made the right decision to buy a vehicle from them and I am more than happy with the customer service and would recommend them anytime. When the time comes for another one I will definitely be returning to this dealership. Thank you to them for all of their time and help!

They are definitely the highest rated, well knowledged and kind staff I have ever seen in car dealerships in Thunder bay. A great warm place for any kind of customers who are looking for a good and fair deal. Hiren Baku is absolutely the best sales person. He's so nice and helpful and he helped me find my best vehicle. many thanks to him for his great job and also Mike the financial manager is so kind and nice as well. 5star for them.
