★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did not realize until these lockdowns how unprofessional and lacking of customer service skills this security team is. I am not even ashamed or full of guilt to be writing a bad review after the interactions I have had with some members of the security team. They lack the communication skills one should have with fellow mall employees. Cant forget the several times I have been asked how long I have worked at the mall and proof of employment after they saw me basically every morning during the first lockdown going into the mall and out with my manager and fellow co workers. I understand they cannot remember everyone's face but I have had several one on one interactions with majority of the security team when going in for my 8 am shifts it would be impossible for anyone to not remember a face they have been seeing several times a week for the past 7-9 months. In addition when offered proof of employment they will not want it and will act unprofessional acting like they are doing me a favor by letting me into the mall to get to my shift on time, this doesn't come as a surprise as most of them do not seem to be trained in customer service. I would expect STC to have a better trained security team after all the upgrades they've been doing in the past few years.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible. I work at the mall so I parked at entrance 6. After my shift I had to take the train to another store location and when I came back they refused to let me back into the mall. It was 12:30am. Im a young small girl and they would rather me walk around the whole parking lot from the bus terminal around cineplex, past Walmart, the Bay etc just to get to my car. I was absolutely terrified. Terrible job at keeping the public safe. Not to mention their lack of enforcing people to wear masks in the mall. Literally never see them around the mall and when I do, they’re chilling in a pack and just chilling over the banister.
