★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've never had such a rude customer service experience. Honestly just shocked. I went to buy new running shoes today during their women's shoe sale. The staff member wasn't around to help because she spent over 5 minutes petting a dog instead of helping myself and another lady. She finally comes over and is ticked because we both collected shoes off the shelf to get scanned to try on (yeah cause we want to shop and you're not here to help). The staff member scans them and comes back with a few boxes. She gave me a wrong pair and I told her I asked for a different one. She says "no, you asked for this one". Shocked, I'm like "no I don't like those, I asked for these." She says, "okay, they don't have those, but you definitely asked for the other ones" and starts walking away. I was so surprised by her rudeness, I called to her, "No I didn't. I would never have chosen those shoes, I don't like the splotches on them." She ROLLED her eyes, huffed off, and never helped us again. No name tag so I cant call her out. Wish I could've spoken to a manager...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came in to get my badminton racquet restrung and on my arrival they told me that they can take in my racquet but don’t think it’ll be done within the WEEK. When I asked why they told me that they have one guy who comes in once a week to string racquets. Then I asked what day he would be in so I know when to come back. They said he’s in today (Monday) but already has 2 racquets to do. TWO. Don’t ever come here to get your racquet strung cuz the only person who can do them does 2 racquets a week. So disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried to buy my son some shoes, he's 12 he's in a size 8 men's shoe...difficult size I know. The lady that we had said they just don't stock that size at all. Online said they did. but okay, whatever. We will go to a size 7 kids, that should fit too, Nope don't have that either....so I'm like, do you have 8s in men's in any style? So she picks out a pair of 200 dollar shoes and that's the only ones they have. Thats ridiculous for a grade 7 boy. They should have better selection, or have other plans for this. she was not helpful at all. Eventually I found a men's size 8 and holy low and behold we found a pair for 89 dollars. She was rude and sparky. not impressed.

The bike company in lacombe that put them together called me and said one of the bikes was already wrecked when they took it out of the box. I called and left messages at Sport Chek and no one ever returned my calls.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought several product a few months ago on final sale, no return no exchange of course its on sale 75% off, when finally pandemic gym restriction is lift and I was about to used it today 3/11/22 . I notice the receipt in the box that I paid the original price (4x the sale price) and not the discounted price on green sticker that appears on the item bought , i feel like i was coned. I still remember what the cashier told me, before putting a stamp on the receipt FINAL SALE , trusted her for saying no return no exchange on SALE discounted items FINAL SALE , but actually paid it on original price. I need a refund for overpayment and maybe barcode law applies with regards to scanner price accuracy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really enjoy shopping at Sport Chek in Southpointe Common! It's a very organized and clean store. There are always staff members available to answer my questions or help me find products. They have a great selection of merchandise! Today I bought two pairs of Under Armour sandals. Also, I filled out the online survey at the bottom of the receipt and they sent me a $10 voucher for my next purchase! Thanks to the staff at Sport Chek Red Deer for a great shopping experience!
