The worst customer service I have ever experienced. They were so self absorbed and un helpful. They couldn't even help me find the right size or suggest what size of Manitoba mukluk I should get and now I think there the wrong size but won't go back. I would rather lose out on the money then have to deal with that store ever again.

Worst shopping experience ever. Unfortunately I am forced to choose one star in order to publish this otherwise it would be none. Went into the store and found some boots I was wanting as a gift for my wife. Unfortunately they did not have her size in stock. Was offered the option of having them special ordered and delivered to my home in the country. Was told 5-7 days before I would see them. Sounded good. Paid for them upfront on my credit card and provided the clerk with all the info she requested. 11 days later no boots. Called the "head office" and got an answering machine. A return call came within the hour. Was told the order had been cancelled the day after I had bought them because they did not have stock. Then was asked if I wanted to re-order them. Im guessing if the order was cancelled in the first place because there was no stock then logic would say there would be no stock now. I declined. I inquired why nobody contacted me. I was told that they do that by email and no email was provided. I was never asked for an email. I did however provide a phone number but apparently that's not how they do things. Rather I was left in limbo until I contacted them. Then I was told my credit card was not charged. After getting off the phone I checked my online statement. Guess what? I was charged. I call back and tell the person I was charged. I am told it was a pre-authorization. I explain that it was not and that it definitely was a charge, So now I have no boots, a $184.00 charge to my credit card, a disappointed wife, and on top of it all I have to travel back into the city to get a refund by providing a receipt to the store without any product to go along with it. I am assured they will be contacted and informed of the situation. Yet another horrible side to this whole mess is I am out of town working a lot and don't have a lot of time to be running around to deal with this kind of crap. Even better is that I was off yesterday and went into the store in question. I did not say anything or inquire about the boots as I had already been told by an employee of that store that I had to call the "head office" and deal with them to find out where the boots were. The only thing I will ever return to a Quarks for is my refund.

There is no option for less than 1 Star in order to write a Review. Wow. The Staff at this location is horrifically stunned and uninterested in working for their pay. There is ZERO customer service, they all just congregate behind the till with their Starbucks drinks and gossip amongst eachother when customers are in store. 2 Staff members even left the shop together to go look around the mall or somewhere together. I am absolutely appalled at the entiresituation. I cannot believe Management allows this to happen. If I were head office I would make a visit to see where their company dollars are going. It is a recession right now in Alberta (Dec 2015), you would think people would be on their best behavior to keep their jobs but I don't think so here. I've attempted 4 times to buy product from here and all 4 times I'm the one that has to greet THEM to get their attention. None of the times was I offered any form of service. I was also asked of a Price Match Guarantee at time of purchase over a week ago, and the Store Manager herself told me no problem, she can honor that if the boots are still on Sale the 3 days following Boxing day, which would make it December 29. Today is December 29, I'm from out of town, drove in to hopes to buy a pair of boots for myself. 2 of the girls told me they can't help me since it was the Manager that promised me that etc.. all the while the one girl is swirling and sipping her Starbucks Iced coffee. Gotta love that. They couldn't even pick up the phone to call the Manager after I told them she was the one that told me to come after the 28th. So I left. I am writing this review from leaving my 4th attempt to purchase, frustrated, but this sour taste in my mouth is what I leave with each time from Quarks Bower Mall. Please find staff that are able to walk a few feet to the back of the store to check on a size or even to pretend to look like they are working. I just wanted to purchase some product.

I purchased a pair of boots in December from this store location...Recently the zipper gave away and I am now unable to wear the boots. I went to the store and requested some help to rectify the problem. The lady was very nice and said she would contact the manufacture and see if they had any more in stock and she would call me on that Thursday to let me know. Unfortunately Thursday came and went and it is now Monday and I heard nothing back. I called the store and they are willing to put a refund on a gift card for me. So my problem is, they have no other boots in the store that I like. I was told because they are over a month old I have no option other than a gift card. This upsets me because I would use a refund to look for another pair of boots somewhere else. Now I have no boots and have to sit on a gift card until something within that store peaks my interest. I am disappointed that this was my only option.

I was in looking at shoes today the associate blonde, tall and glasses horrible service very rude and appalled my aunt.and mom are regular customers in here and will not be back if this employee is working. Very rude. Disrespectful and nasty service. Soft moc way better and nicer staff
