Went for pricematching an item, but they unprofessionally declined to match the price by saying it is a completely different product. Then I had to contact their customer service to get the price difference refunded. This is the second time in a year this happened to me.

This 5star is for Nadio( not sure this is correct spelling) who helped us for my daughter iced skating stuff needs. She is beyond perfect ? and most of their staff are pretty nice as well.

Really disappointed with the service here. I’ve been at this location on more than one occasion and every time I’ve come here it’s impossible for anyone to offer assistance. I’ve made it quite obvious at times that I needed help and the workers whom I could so clearly see and I know they saw me, would rather converse with each other than do their job and assist customers. In this particular occasion I needed assistance in their baseball isle and waited there for over 20 mins just to have the gentleman tell me that he doesn’t know a lot about baseball, to his credit, he was kind and tried assisting me in anyway that he could but it’s apparent that the management needs to do better here and train their staff. I decided to buy elsewhere as I wasn’t impressed with the lack of service.

Currently been standing in line for 30min with one girl at the cashier counter helping the same guy. While the other workers watch from across the room. Not sure why they didn't come over to help or she didn't call them over. Finally I just asked myself for one of them to jump on another till, they told me to go to the other side of the building to the other cashier. Fine, walked over and waited an additional 20 min before dropping my stuff on the floor in front of me and walking out. Genuinely hope this place gets shut down. Workers don't care about anything, they don't deserve to have a job.

Went in to buy a pair of high-end running shoes. Not a single salesperson in sight....I shouldn't have to hunt one down. After fifteen minutes, I went to Foot Locker and bought a pair. They were helpful from the moment I entered the store.

Went there to pick up a rain jacket and it was a nice clean store and they had a large selection for reasonable prices. My only issue was I had 4 staff members walk right by me and not a single word to me to see if I needed help. etc. I didn’t need the help but it would be nice for them to at least ask. Maybe work on your customer service then I will give 5 stars.

Very disappointing and frustrating experience. Phoned this location, (among others that could also give us what we needed), to see if we could get skis waxed and sharpened before a weekend ski trip. When I called they guaranteed they would be ready in the morning 2 days later-which is exactly when we needed them by. When I dropped off the skis and reminded the clerk I needed them in the AM 2 days later, I was once again reassured that they would be done. The next day I had a missed call from the store but no voicemail was left so we assumed the skis were ready for pick up. Nope! When we went to pick them up, they had not even started working on them yet and the clerk at the store at the time did not know about the 48 hour guarantee!!! There is a serious lack of communication between staff and insincere promises made to clients. Not to mention that when I bought the hot was card, the clerk who sold it to me had no idea how to apply the discount and tried to charge me for a hot wax which is what the card is for. Staff appears to be uninformed on the products and promotions they sell. There are many other Sport Check branches and sporting good stores in the city and we no longer have any reason to waste our time at this location and give them our business.

First off, the outside doors had a snow drift to the point you cod barely open the door. This was at 1030am and was still there when we left the mall at 1230pm. Seriously?? Come on now have a bit of awareness. Second, the store was quite nice. Was clean and laid out well. Third, do any staff have any sort of service training? No one said a word to us. Overall I wouldn't recommend this store. Pretty evident the management couldn't care less.
