β β β β β Very poor service. We waited 20 minutes for cutlery that never arrived (we ended up sharing one set!). We also had to wait 10 minutes for milk for our coffee. One dish was meant to come with sausage but didn't. It was also VERY bland, so we sent it back. We were excited to go back for milkshakes sometime as we live nearby, but won't be back again. Save your your money for Jam! Only 1 block away!

β β β β β First time here, and it didn't disappoint! I was fascinated by all the memorabilia on the walls, it brought back happy memories from my childhood. The booths gave the cafΓ© a diner feel. The staff were accommodating, and allowed our party of 2 to move to a roomier 4-seater booth (there was no line to wait for a table at that point). The Florentine Benedict had a generous topping of spinach and the medium poached eggs were just right, I really enjoyed this dish! They offer a huge selection of flavoured milkshakes that I'd like to try next time.

β β β β β This cafe takes you back in the 70's, 80, & 90's.Such a retro vibe. The food is awesome. Its one of our favorite breakfast place now in Vancouver.

β β β β β It was my first time at Sophieβs but definitely not the last. The menu had a lot of variety and the food was tasty! I would try and sit outside if itβs a sunny day! Not sure if they take reservations but youβll probably wait to be seated for a bit if itβs the weekend.

β β β β β Cozy Cafe in Kitz that has a warm vibe on the inside with great food to match. I personally find Sophieβs to be better than itβs neighbour Jam and they have less of a wait time. Eggs in my order were cooked to a degree I had asked for and the hot sauce compliments the potatoes well. Great place for a weekend breakfast or brunch.

β β β β β Very quaint interiors, friendly staff, great food... Santa Fe eggs bennies, waffles and burgers were delicious. A friend of mine recommended the place and I was glad I took his word for it. Sophie's did not disappoint. Now we have a go to place for brunch before we go for a walk by the water.

β β β β β Been coming here since my university days (>25 years ago) on/off and itβs consistently awesome! Great food, even better service, big portions, and fair prices.

β β β β β Cool brunch spot with very nice interior decor. The service was lovely but the food was mid; the potatoes were dry and bland and there was not enough hollandaise on the Benny. But all in all, cool place!
