I went into the store on April 27th to purchase a pair or shoes. They didn’t have my size, so I prepaid and ordered them to be shipped to the store. I was advised I would get a call back within 3-5 business days when the shows arrive. A week later, and no phone call- I decided to call the store on May 4th to check the status before I go in as I’m 8 months pregnant. Despite calling throughout the day for 3 days including and after May 4th, the store did not answer their phones. I had been calling at all different times for 3 days, when I decided I’ll contact the mall customer service. To no surprise, I was advised that this is a known issue and complaint that the store does not answer their phones. They took my info and details and asked mall security to walk over to the store and have the store call me. Due to my frustration, I called SoftMoc Headoffice after this phone call. Not the most pleasant experience, but atleast they answered! I was advised that they also are aware of this issue. I was advised that my shoes had come in the store on April 30th. That’s 3 days after my order date and a week prior to me calling Headoffice and the store again!!!! While on the phone with Headoffice, I get a call from the store asking what they can help me with as they obviously got my message from mall security. I told them the situation, and there was no explanation, no sympathy, nothing. The girl on the phone acknowledged that the shoes came in on April 30th and that they should have called me. She also said that they don’t answer their phones as they get busy! Ha! If anyone knows this location, then you would know that’s not true. I did go same day to pick up the shoes (with no customers in the store) and due to this lack of customer service, I will never be shopping st SoftMoc anymore. The store does not have a manager (which makes sense) and is run by what looks like high school students who definitely lack common sense and customer service. I wouldn’t even give this experience a one star, but chose it as it’s the least option available.

My experience at this location has always been somewhat of a miss; though, Ive had the chance to go in for few visits these past couple of weeks and was surprised at how positive it seems to have become now. The young blonde girl that helped me (I never asked her but she seems to be the supervisor) was charming and a delight to be around. Even some of the familiar staff whom I've dealt with before seemed to be more motivated with her around. Before they looked bored but Im glad that it seems that its changing

Worst customer service ever. I asked for an 8 and since they didn't have that, she brought me a different size. I won't grow into bigger ones. I asked for a different style and 10 minutes later she came back and asked if I needed help. She hadn't brought the shoes yet. Two sales people and two customers in the store. What happens when it's busy?

Terrible customer service! Went in on Sunday August 12th. There were 3 people working there but no one took the initiative to help me. I had to go to the cashier twice to ask for help. She never checked in to see if I liked the shoes, if I needed a different size...nothing. I really wanted to buy shoes but ended up walking out because of the TERRIBLE service. It's a shoe store, not a grocery store....customers actually need help.

Worst customer service experience. I called the location a total of 7 times within 2 hours and the phone was not answered once. I then drove to the location, after checking to see if the boots I wanted were in stock. Once arriving I asked the man if they had the boots, he said he didn’t know and wasn’t able to check unless I told him an item number, even though I showed him the boots I wanted. Then after showing him the online inventory he said they didn’t have them, I asked him to check the back because the inventory showed otherwise. He comes back out with a completely different brand of boot / size and tells me that was the boot I wanted..... I ended up leaving since the staff clearly was unable to help me. The manager called me back 8 hours later stating they had the boots I originally wanted the entire time... I will never be returning, and bought my $300 dollar boots elsewhere.

Horrible customer service. I went in looking for work shoes and found two pairs I was hoping to try on. Unfortunately the only girl working (reddish hair, glasses) was stood behind the counter talking to a customer/obviously her friend about college, work etc. for over TEN MINUTES! I was able to catch her eye a couple times but she made no move to help me, and it felt awkward trying to interrupt their conversation so I just left. I was the only customer in the store, a few people came in, walked around, and left with no customer service offered at all, not even a "hello ". Would recommend literally any other shoe store, or maybe a different employee ?

Worst place I've been to in my life! Employees look about young and look like they have no clue what they are doing. I think the store needs to be run by adults, not a bunch of children who have NO idea what they're doing!

Young blond female sales rep. Possibly the manager, super rude, unprofessional. Asked what sizes was available in a particular shoe, she rolled her eyes and ignored my question. I had to ask a second time if they had this size possibly in the back area. She then went to check as I was waiting I over heard her complaining about my and my daughter and I. Unfortunately β€œUggs, Birkenstock” at Pickering town centre is only available at this store. Next time I’ll drive to Yorkdale! Never giving this store any buisness
