★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an amazing experience at Silk & Sonic yesterday. I am Caribbean descent and have an indian event in a week and both Amarjeet and Rita were so patient to educate and guide me on my saree, how to put it together and how to wear it. My girlfriend had the bottom made in India and Silk & Gold will be making the saree blouse for me. I cant wait to fit this to complete my outfit. I also got jewelery for my outfit plus a 60th birthday gift. I will definitely be a repeat custoner and recommends this place. Great customer service is not easy to find especially these days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came to this store with our family in hopes of looking for some outfits for a wedding. Initially we wanted to look for sarees but became interested in other pieces in the store. Once we decided we were going to leave, the owner said “seems like whatever you need you’ll find at silverspoon (restaurant across the street). This was beyond unprofessional and extremely rude and uncalled for. I was absolutely taken back by this comment and felt so much rage. I cannot believe this happened on my first outing for wedding shopping. Not an experience I wish upon anyone.
Edit: To clarify, this comment was made by the man in the store. The interaction with the lady was pleasant. Nonetheless, this situation was extremely uncomfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome experience overall...though we (family of 3 members) came in late, the owner was patient and kind enough to accommodate all our needs. She was very proactive to exactly measure us and then provide the correct fitting. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for Indian clothes in Mississauga :). They do also have alterations done in house if we need!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great experience shopping at Silk and Gold! I was looking for a gold blouse to go with my saree, and they have so many options, all so beautiful! Their lehengas and sarees are so beautiful and reasonably priced. I was delighted and impressed with the service I received from Amarjeet; he went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my items and didn’t rush me or make me feel like it was all about money. Extremely happy with the store and service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a wonderful experience. Got a beautiful lehenga from this boutique. When I first went in the shop, Amarjeet and Rita treated me so kindly and made me feel so special. I felt they are my family. They are truly amazing people. I am glad they helped me select a perfect outfit and customized it just the way I wanted. If I get a chance I would buy all their clothes haha? such a beautiful collection.

Amarjeet uncle and Rita aunty are very nice, patient and helpful when it comes to selecting modern, chic and elegant pieces. They have an amazing collection of Indian outfits. Definitely worth visiting and checking their boutique out.

I would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone who is looking for something unique and different along with excellent service.
