★ ★ ★ ★ ★ absolutely horrendous experience today. i’m also going to reach out to corporate about it once i’m home. i spent 5 minutes looking around and found what i wanted to purchase. two cashiers were helping customers. the woman shopping on the left side was continuing to shop and look around and tying up the line. the ladies on the right side were doing god knows what but that cashier had like a folder out and printing stuff.. locating stuff for them who knows! another staff member was folding stuff.. i asked if he could help me bc i really had to go return my rental car. he said he couldn’t. waiting another few minutes i got the 3 employees attention and then he told the cashier i was needing help. the male cashier said i have to wait and can’t help me. there was someone behind me waiting as well and getting impatient like i was. i waiting around 10 minutes and i was truly in a rush for my rental car return. when the guy at the register helped me, he knew i was pissed. he said in a very drab and sarcastic way he hopes i have a great rest of the day.. he was absolutely never willing to help nor was the female cashier. it was the worst roots store experience i’ve ever had and possibly store experience in general. shame on these people being the ones to represent roots.. a company i really love.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice quality hats and hoodies! But the customer service was not the best. I was checking out and the guy who checked out as was very robotic. He was very slow and seemed like he was in his own world.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This store is good, despite the some low reviews. What people need to know is that outlet stores aren't going to be crazy cheap. One of the main reason they exist is the sell the past season's stock to bring in the new stuff for the regular stores. Roots is a pricey brand outside, so don't expect to get things at thrift stores prices here. And outlets don't really have major sales, since they are already an outlet store.
The store is clean and organized, therefore the staff does their jobs. And if you were in their positions, dealing with customers that expect to be treated like royality, for minimum wage, you wouldn't be a happy ray of sunshine all the time either. Have some empathy and understanding that they are human and you are equals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am not sure who is giving excellent to this store. We went on Black Friday, everything was priced up rather than price down, there were no sales at all. Customer service was extremely poor, bunch of kids hanging out , chatting , didn't bother to ask if we need anything. When I asked about the trouser I was looking to buy, the automatic reply was " if you don't see then we don't have it and then continued to chat.. I will never ever go back to this store or this chain ever again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They had some good collection. I couldn’t shop properly because the lady at the front cash on Saturday made me feel very uncomfortable. There were more people shopping in store but I felt like she followed me/kept an eye on me because I am person of colour. I just felt very uncomfortable from the moment I walked in & left. I had to go to square one to get what I wanted from roots.
