Almost always are unable to fill prescriptions when needed. Countless times I have been promised a prescription will be ready, and when I show up it has not been filled and I am asked to return another day. I'm left without medication that I need. Unreliable, rarely able to follow through on promises, and every time I go back in it is a different reason or excuse. Some of the staff are very friendly but that does not make up for the unreliable service.

THEY ARE TERRIBLE AT THE PHARMACY!! I have been dealing with them since March, and I have had nothing but problems getting prescriptions filled there. It takes a minimum 3 weeks to get a simple renewal from start to picking up. This is ridiculous, and they just don't care when you ask why is this happening. I have to make repeat calls to get anything done. I do not have the time or energy to keep doing this. I had to give one star, but in fact their service is less than ZERO stars. If you are looking for a pharmacy, I would recommend you go somewhere else.

There are so many shoppers locations now , it seems they are everywhere. Couldn't find what I was looking for here .Shop was well stocked ,very clean and laid out like every other shoppers. Lots of parking. Located on Taunton road near garden.

Very rude and horrible service. I called for booking an appointment to do a COVID antigen test and the lady that picked up snapped back at me that they don't do appointments and to just walk in before abruptly hanging up before I can say anything else. So I go to the store and then they tell me that they are too busy to do the test. What kind of backwards thinking is that? If you know you are busy, why wouldn't you use an appointment system? I checked in with a different Shopper's Drug Mart and they are doing appointments like normal, so why does this location have to be special about it? You are better off going to another location.

Useless pharmacy. So disorganized, they didn't have vaccines, staff had no clue youth could get vaccine, yet appointment was booked. Waited an hour after our appointment and constant excuses.... Said they didn't have vaccines then they suddenly did. Just a hot mess!

In regards to the pharmacy: I pick up prescriptions around every 3 weeks with my mask and hat on. But even with my mask and hat on, while approaching the counter, one of the lead pharmacists preemptively grabbed my prescription for me because she had recognized me. That level of attentiveness paired with her taking the initiative is my main reason for leaving this review.

I am a person of colour which experienced descrimination on this store while waiting for my prescription to be filled. It bothered me so much that I had to take my prescription somewhere else. I read one of the review below that had similar experience that I realize it must be management instructions to treat their customers with POC.

I have never been to a store with such incompetent employees, who lie so quick claiming β€œpolicy” as their excuse. I have never felt more disrespected. I came in to do a return 2 days after making a purchase with products that hadn’t been touched let alone opened. Before I could finish my sentence I was told that I have to go to the original store I purchase from. The lady at the counter claimed that it’s shoppers policy and all returns can only be done at original store. This is absolutely not the case and has never been. Then they (older man got involved) lied to me and said they don’t carry the product I was returning so they won’t process my return, when in fact they had them sitting on their shelves. I presented a digital copy of the receipt which they scanned and verified but the man refused to put through my return because there was no paper copy of the receipt. AGAIN this is not a rule. If I had multiple products on a receipt and I chose to return one then I would have the right to keep my receipt so telling me the company needs to keep my paper receipt is bs. After realizing everything they were saying was completely made up and false, they argued that my return would only be made on a gift card rather than my original form of payment. The worst part of this whole situation was the man asking me many unnecessary and personal questions that were completely unrelated to the simple request i had. Never in my many years working in retail or experiencing the real world have I felt this disrespected nor seen 2 employees lie so much about company policy. I am so disappointed in Shoppers for not training their employees right and for these employees abusing their power to make me feel so uncomfortable given my simple request in which I had full right to have processed for me. Really wish their was a 0 star option. Customer service is the single most important element of a business and this location most definitely needs to hire new employees or retrain them based on the customer service I received today. It doesn’t cost anything to be human and treat customers with respect.
