At Save-On-Foods, going the extra mile is nothing new. Actually, we’ve gone above and beyond in all areas of our business since we started, way back in 1915. Originally, we were called Overwaitea Food Group because of the founder’s practice of selling 18 ounces of tea for the price of 16, and the name “overweight tea” stuck. Fast forward over 100 years and that name has changed, but we’re still known for delivering extra value to our customers. Today our company is best known for its most prominent banner—Save-On-Foods—but also includes PriceSmart Foods, Urban Fare and Bulkley Valley Wholesale.

β β β β β This is in regard to the bakery bread section on December 23 at around 3:00. The girl with the longer hair has zero customer service skills and not an ounce of respect. I was trying to ask a quick simple question that didnβt require her to do anything but say yes or no. First of all she pretended she couldnβt see me so when I finally kindly said excuse me she told me to βwaitβ. She was extremely unprofessional and rude and with her responses to me, if can even call it a response. You should train this person in general politeness to avoid future complaints because that was absolutely horrible to experience. Merry Christmas.

β β β β β Online ordering service is hit or miss. Every time there is one key item missing like bread or milk, even though weβve added a note to our account to substitute items as needed. Delivery drivers are generally friendly and well organized but the people who put together the orders arenβt.

β β β β β I would use five stars howeverI don't give five stars out all that often.The Deli In this Save-On-Foods is phenomenal. Jeff was very helpful abd taught me about rotisserie chicken. Everything looks beautiful regardless of prices.I find it a carnival to shop here. Keep up the good work y'all!

β β β β β I do my shopping at this location approximately once a week if not more. And I have been harassed twice by security there because I bring my own grocery bags and dress warm for the weather. The next time this happens I will not comply and wait for police response with full intentions of filing harassment and discrimination charges. Very unprofessional security services. "Inder" the produce manager was professional enough not to hide his name tag though.

β β β β β This is the best store in Edmonton to shop for groceries, The staff is incredible especially the service desk, Food is high quality I have never had an issue with any one including security there. I love this store and even though I moved to 111 and Ellerslie I will still drive to shop at this store. I do wish that they carried Kraft Mayo as Hellman's is not as good, so I shop at Sobey's for that. Keep up the good work !

β β β β β Dropped by tonight to buy some ice cream and they price matched from another store :) I was helped by two extremely kind and helpful associates (The deli manager Jeff and the security officer [didnβt see their name]). 5 stars for friendly service and great selection!

β β β β β I'm a fan of Save On and the different locations around Edmonton.
I'm use to going to the one in Chappelle but this place is really good.
The staff are super friendly and I find this store tidy, organized and usually stocked with the items I need.
I'm impressed with the staff as when I've had trouble finding something, they know where to look almost immediately; that's impressive!
I'd recommend this location to my friends and family.
