UPDATE: Well looks like somebody listened and changed the late hours from Wed-Thurs, to Thurs-Fri. Thank you! Just upgraded from 3 to 5 stars. Previously: Friendly service, but they close WAY too early (4pm Mon, Tues, Fri). Especially for not being open on weekends, and it's not like they open that early either (9:30am). Why stay open late on Wednesday/Thursday instead of Thursday/Friday when most people get paid? All the other banks in Dundas are open until at least 5pm.

Great experience with the front and back-end staff. Love this branch the most of the other dozen I’ve been in various cities, including Hamilton. Unlike the other comments, I was helped immediately and was very attentively attended to. When I had an appointment, I was called prior for confirmation and to prepare in-advance anything necessary. I was followed-up with readily and all our further email correspondences were replied to, at maximum, within 1 business day.

I bank at scotiabanks all over Hamilton and find this branch is consistently staffed by individuals who are less than helpful or very poorly trained. I reached my limit today when i went to pay a few bills. My teller fussed over the invoice for what seemed like forever until she asked the teller next her how to do it and then proceeded to continue to look at the documents and shuffle the papers for another minute. Clearly she was not sufficiently trained to be on her own.The blame for this falls squarely at the feet of her supervisor and the manager. i finally just asked for my paperwork back and left to go to another branch.

Service staff are quality, but the Financial Advisors need some better management. I have had nothing but good experiences with the tellers at the front line. Quick, friendly, and efficient service. Wanda, John, and Jenn (I think? I'm sorry if I got your name wrong) are the stars of the branch. Respect to them and Halima for keeping things running smoothly. The advisors keep me away from this branch though. Too many mistakes to make it worth coming in when there are other branches 10-15 minutes away. When I want to contribute to my savings, I want it done right the first time. Not the second time. There shouldn't even be a third attempt to contribute. Unfortunately, at this branch there is. If you have basic transactions to do, come on by. If you need to speak to an advisor, keep driving. Ancaster isn't that far.

Why is one of the tellers at this branch permitted to only wear a face shield? A face mask is mandated by Public Health, you have seniors coming in and out of that branch throughout the day and its a health risk to your own staff. Completely unacceptable.

3 customer-facing staff members weren't wearing masks when I was in Monday. The greeter and two tellers behind the counter. One of the tellers just started walking around the branch without putting a face covering on. Very disappointing to see the employees be this lax.

How the heck the bank is closed at 4 P.M ? When google and even when I called at phone number the automatic voice service says its open from 9:30 - 5 P.M . How is this branch closed at 4 P.M . There were many unhappy customers with me when we entered and found the doors locked. We expected the bank to be open till 5.

Booked an appointment a week in advance with one of the "advisors", named Received a confirmation email and all. Nobody called me. I waited for 45 min on the phone, and received no call as booked. Nobody called to apologize, reschedule, and I wasn't able to call the branch directly with the number that was provided. I have never received worst customer service from the bank in my life. DO NOT BANK WITH THEM.
