Don't do it! At Freedom, you will experience poor cellphone reception, a badly designed web interface and terrible customer service. I've been a customer for two years. There is little if anything to recommend about the service offered. For $5 per month more, you can get a faster and better plan elsewhere.

I've been using their network for 5 years, I travel a lot in the GTA and with the odd exception I have no complaints. The staff at this store are great, brought my wife and daughter in today to get plans, for the price they can't be beat. The other thing I like are the lack of hidden charges, the carrier they were using was constantly dinging them on a monthly basis with extra charges, drove me nuts. I have been paying the same price for the last 5 years, never once had a surprise at the end of the month. Used their $15 roaming plan when we went to the US, worked like a charm.

Got Samsung S20 phone at Freedom store in University plaza West Hamilton. Dealt with Freedom sales clerk Ishan. I was very impressed by his professionalism and knowledge. He was very patient and made sure he presented all options and answered all my questions. After I got the new phone, Ishan helped me transfer the data and do the set up. Such a nice experience dealing with Ishan.

The best customer service I have ever received. Mohammed (I'm not sure how to spell his name) really went above and beyond any expectations I had going into the store to ensure that we would be happy with the cellphone and plan we received. Working in retail, I understand the extent to which workers may go to ensure customer gratification but this tops every experience I have had. He was extremely positive and very helpful and went out of his way to make sure we got everything we needed. He's amazing!!

I have been with Freedom for 9 years, since 2011 when it was still Wind. I've been immensely happy, so far. I recently had a problem, and this store was able to help. I upgraded my phone in July, and was told there was a promotion on which would wave the connection fee associated with a new phone hook up. WHen my bill came the next month, the connection fee was listed. I called customer service, and was told (to my surprise) that they could do nothing, and that I should go to the store I bought the phone from to resolve this. Okay. So I went to the store, and the staff there told me he couldn't update my bill there, either. So I called customer service again, and CS ONCE AGAIN tried to throw me to the store, saying it wasn't their problem to resolve. I was confused. The CS agent spoke with the store clerk for a long time, and even though I could only hear the store side, it was very clear that CS was trying to throw the store staff under the bus. The store staff suggested that they simply apply a credit on my account (CS refused). When store staff asked to be transferred to the loyalty dept, CS REFUSED, claiming they'd do nothing - at which point I told CS this was about 5 seconds away from becoming a retention issue as I was ready to take my business elsewhere. Finally, we got to a supervisor who put a credit on my account (in 10 seconds). I appreciate the store manager's patience and efforts to help me resolve what was a ridiculous issue (1.5 hrs on phone w/CS for $20? Come on, Freedom).

On Saturday July 31, 2021, approximately 1245pm, I arrived at this location to inquire about the $50 dollars (20 gig unlimited) a month plan. The staff there told me this plan does not come with unlimited talk. I find it hard to believe as it states clearly online and on the brochure that it does. Anyhow, I didn't want to argue so I left. In terms of customer service, he really knew how to serve a current freedom customer in a passive aggressive way. Very disappointed. I can give him the benefit of the doubt, either he didn't know what he was talking about or knew what he was even selling. Anyhow another location confirmed that 20 gig unlimited data did come with unlimited talk.
