It is comfortable and looks elegant. ———— Update End of Jan 2021: I called and was also contacted by the company reps. Since this rating is related to follow ups. Initial rating/ communication was changed. Delays are related to shipping carrier, eta mid Feb. Rating will be updated once sofa arrives. So rating does not yet reflect product quality and durability. My friend still loves his furniture after five years, I am hoping for the same! ————- This rating will be updated once/if my sofa arrives. This rating is for delays in delivery delays and no communication (no reflection on products). Purchase mid Nov 2020, paid $500 deposit. Salesperson noted delivery circa Dec 15th. No news. I call end of Dec, my sales person is not there, eta Jan 15 2021. Mid January, no news. I call, my sales person is not there, eta end of January. I get that during a pandemic there are delays but please communicate delays so I know how long I need to sit on the floor. I don’t like to rescind on contracts but if I need to wait a few months with no communication then maybe we need to cancel. If readers of this review can’t wait, yesterday I found a very similar recliner leather sofa / sectional at Richmond Costco. My preference is to be patient with Scandesign as my friend recommended their products and tested sofa was comfortable. At this point I need communication and a solid delivery date.

Note that the Langley store is considerably smaller than the United Blvd location. If you like their furniture then it is worth a trip to see the other store at least once.
S	S Kim on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have bought a sofa from this store, and after it was Delivered i found out the there was a hole on the bottom and they tried to hide them by covering the hole with stitches. And i spend 3000 for a sofa with a hole. You guys are lucky i found this 3 month later, and after we moved from that place.
A	A S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased a sofa from ScanDesigns in August and it took 6 months for the sofa to be delivered. We were told it would only take 2 months initially. The delays were apparently due to the pandemic so that was at least understandable. What is way worse is that the reclining mechanism of our brand new sofa was not even functional. And as of this writing in July, it remains broken. It took them 5 months to send a repairperson; yet after taking the sofa apart, they told me they don't have the proper parts to fix it. But whenever I reach out to the reps at ScanDesigns, it's always just a bunch of "sorry for the inconvenience" emails. No compensations nor partial refunds. Now I'm stuck with a broken down sofa for however many unknown months again.

Walked around for 15 minutes with no offer of help while two sales associates sat at the main desk. The one floor associate targeted the older shoppers who came in after us and made no effort to ask another associate to help us. Exact opposite of the service I’ve received at Nanaimo Muse and Merchant.

He help us through the whole process of the purchase and arranging for shipping to Toronto. The chair arrived 3 days after the purchase. Would highly recommend Scan Designs when considering Stressless products.

We’ve had their furniture for years and can comment on the long term durability. Lastly, there always seems to be great sales so keep an eye out. You’re item arriving can take very long, and the ETA can change frequently. If you’re not a patient person that may be a problem.

He is such an amazing guy and knows how to make a customer happy. He has set a great example for others and raised the bar of customer service to a very high level. In my opinion Scan designs is very fortunate to have people like Jesse. Kudos to you Jesse! I highly recommend shopping from the Langley location.
