Don't get confused, or feel neglected when one may be serving you yet you see another tending to another... a riot, funny... Lots of interesting items on display for sale... prices are good... Very friendly...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is against everything in me to speak negatively about small, family owned businesses but the customer service here was atrocious to say the least. What was intended to be a joyous, holy experience buying a communion dress for our daughter turned out to be a nightmare, we were advised by the owner that we could make a return if we were not entirely satisfied with the dress once we got home. We were advised by the owner, that as long as the tags remained on the garment and it was not worn, there would be no issues. As it turned out we did need to return the dress, never worn, tags still on. When we arrived the owner completely retracted her previous stance on the return policy, very disappointing to say the least. Pretended like she never said that, very embarrassing, poor way to conduct business, and maintain client satisfaction.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to Salvos to purchase my stepdaughter’s Baptism dress and the staff were so rude and judgmental. The woman who “helped” us was insisting that the size 3 we were looking for would be far to big and we needed a 24M because they’re “made in Canada” and also that she has grandchildren and knows. We bought a 2T with a corset back and it only fit because the corset opened wider than it should have. The dress was made in Vietnam and had a poor quality zipper that was 5inches longer than the back and hung between the toddler’s legs. Also told us we were wrong for what size shoe we needed and sent us with two different sizes, neither fit. When I went to return the shoes the next day the woman who helped us was very snarky about knowing they’d fit despite me saying they didn’t. Her dad went to return the dress(we were finished with the poor service at this point and found a better option elsewhere) and again the same woman made comments to him about “the other woman” being in here with the shoes and other comments. We will not be returning and have been sure to pass along our experience to everyone we can.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After going to several stores and feeling like my sons communion would be ruined, I called Salvos. They had one suit left in my sons size in the colour I wanted. The lady I spoke to assured she would save it for me until I arrived there from Mississauga. The moment we walked in she took us to the back and dressed my son from head to toe. She recreated the look I had in my mind.. this store deserves more then 5 stars.... amazing quality formal wear and the service is the best! I wish I could give you lady's more stars!
