โ โ โ โ โ The owner made a mistake on our food order and instead of owning up to it she tried to play me as I was dumb and couldn't figure out how to read the menu. Anyways the food was good but not what we wanted. No resolution.

โ โ โ โ โ ruby has the best eggrolls!!! I also have to add this has got to be my favorite restaurant for Chinese food in Ottawa. I absolutely love their customer service. I ordered my favorite shrimp and lobster sauce which is with delicious flavors. The shrimp are huge and cooked to perfection. The combination plate is so big in proportion. I especially love the spare ribs they are exceptionally tasty. I so appreciate that the food is fresh rice is Fluffy and it's well worth the wait as I did order for delivery. Be prepared to have your mouth water as I am also attaching pictures.

โ โ โ โ โ Quick and easy this restaurant has been an icon in this area for many years. They have the hands-down best eggrolls and no matter how busy they are and will always have your food ready at the exact time they tell you. (Unlike many others that will tell you last time but you find yourself waiting for your pick up order.) slightly on the pricier side for quality and preparation is fantastic portions are good and selection is ample.

โ โ โ โ โ Almond Chicken soo guy is the best I've had in a long time. Ruby inn delivers however, I live in the west end of Ottawa but, don't mind the drive for good food. Ruby inns sweet and sour chicken balls are not a clump of batter with a tiny piece of meat inside, these chicken balls are dipped in a light batter and done to perfection. My mom thanks you, she says she hasn't had good Chinese food for years. Happy 2022. Unfortunately when they make a mistake on your order and give you the completely wrong thing, they are very rude and will not fix their mistakes, they blame the customer for their failures, I will not be returning to be treated poorly for their mistake and for their poor customer service.

โ โ โ โ โ Egg rolls are very good, everything else is just ok, and prices are a bit expensive. Service was friendly though.
General Tao chicken was mostly breading.
Beef & vegetable was mostly vegetables and barely any beef.
I would recommend trying the egg rolls but the dishes aren't that special.

โ โ โ โ โ Love the lemon chicken, jar doo chicken wings , BBQ pork fried rice. The egg rolls have changed but still very good. BUT the woman who sometimes is at the front desk or answers the phone is CONSTANTLY very RUDE

โ โ โ โ โ Quite disappointed. The portions are less than half of what they used to be. Food was warm at best. Chicken balls were mostly batter. This used to be our favourite Chinese takeout but itโs not the same place anymore. RIP Ruby Inn
