Honestly the worst experience I have ever had. They're scammers, looking to steal your money and not help you succeed. You're better off starting scratch. I never missed a day of school and always looked for extra help but they still manage to fail me. Please don't be naive and try taking a course at this private college .

The teacher, receptionist, paperwork person and CEO, were always very approachable. If I had ANY question, someone followed up on the same day. I feel "at home" in this school. Like a mother who really cares what is going on with you and wants to support you through your troubles. I have a lot of physical problems this year and I really feel like they care. Thank you for being in my life ACA!!!

This is a school that you must avoid. If you want a school that doesn't care or a teacher is racist and place a hidden cameras in the class room. Then this is the place. They don't help you get placements or coops but if you delay even a day in making school fee payment then you are out and black listed. My suggestion for this farce of a academy is that they try to help there students if not I hope they shut down and people don't loose there hard earn money. I have called them many times with no help from them at all. I hope I had never heard of this school. IF YOU ARE THINKING OF APPLYING LOOK AT A REAL COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY. It might be a little tough to get in but there is a reason for that and having a real school name.on your resume helps. In reply to the below response, I would rather not waste my time going through what I have gone for a better part of a year. I had complained enough times and no one careed until I made a public comment. Maybe you should start by talking to Debbie and asking her why she has contempt for people from diverse backgrounds and encourages them to drop course after they have paid there fees through OSAP. Almost a perfect skeam to get the money . I don't believe there was even a single day that I was encouraged by that teacher. I was always told that I should quit and drop the course. That I will never get a job. She forced 3 students to quit. Truly a horrible place.

Attending Algonquin Careers Academy was one of the best experiences of my life! I attended in 2014/15 and I plan to attend again this fall of 2018. The owner Dez and ALL the staff are super welcoming! Rima in particular is the most funniest person you will ever meet. It is unfortunate that some reviewers are trying to make the school seem to be something that it is not. I can assure you that no staff, including Debbie, have ever acted prejudice or racist while I was attending. I did not have to find my own placement, the school did. I was never told to drop out nor was any student in my class. In fact they continuously, even after graduating, check up on the students and their progress and we are still able to use their student services, ensuring our success in the future. I would DEFINITELY recommend attending Algonquin Careers Academy.

I am a graduate of this academy. This has been one of the best experiences of my life in Canada. The teachers, receptionist, and all the staff ( Sean, Deborah, and others) were always very approachable, and very helpful.I would like to especially thank professor Chris for his constant concern, and magnificent treatment. I learned a lot and felt "at home" in this school. I am proud to have studied at this school, to have participated in the PSW Program that they taught with such quality, and I recommend that interested people select this school to enroll in any of their study program. CONGRATULATIONS!

Worst experience at a school ever. The "teacher" for the Accounting and Payroll Admin program Ledy Tredre has the sheer audacity to unapologetically laugh directly at students when they ask questions about complex material. When we try to voice our concerns it's considered a waste of time. Rather than providing us any direct personal knowledge she refers us to the textbook and slides and suggests we work in study groups. Voiced concerns fall upon deaf ears and I did not pay to be unheard.
