J	Jason Merone on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love love love their egg rolls!!! Everytime I'm in town I stop by and order two dozen cold ones (and a hot one to go) and freeze them. Then I air fry them for quick lunches weeks later, always excellent always amazing. The best egg rolls I've every had! The staff is super helpful and friendly too. Service is so quick and efficient. Price tag is getting high though.

They were really really good and different from most average Egg Rolls you’d find elsewhere. It’s really close to a 5 star experience but the plum sauce was a tad runny for my liking and they were a tad oily but still very delicious nonetheless. The Original Egg Rolls were my favourite and the Chicken Rolls were very good too. The spring rolls were average but still nice. I would come back here again myself and I would recommend someone to try it out if they enjoy these crispy treats ??

Granted the egg rolls were “meaty”, the stingy amount of sauce was tasty, but they certainly were not worth the ridiculous high price. As for the combination dinner, the garlic spareribs (4 to be exact) were so dried out and hard that they resembled dog treats. The ribs must have been cooked very early that morning or even perhaps the day before. They were so dry they were barely edible. The chicken almond guy ding consisted of a few roasted almonds, which I initially mistakenly thought were peanuts, the guy ding was nothing but celery and onions and quite frankly absolutely tasteless. The fried rice was mediocre, pretty hard to mess that up. Other Chinese take-outs I have patronized in the past always came with one egg roll and a fortune cookie with their single combination dinners. The Golden Palace supplied neither with the dinner, however they were available with additional charge on their menu. Golden Palace got my business this once...there will never be a repeat. If there had been an option for a “no star” rating, that would have been my choice.

The rice was hard and bland, the chicken balls were literally the worst I’ve tasted, even the sauce was bad. The ribs were ok but the plate didn’t even come with an egg roll. The portions were small. I do not recommend at all, waste of money, horrible food overall. I’m guessing the only thing worth getting is the egg rolls, but didn’t even get to try one. Go literally anywhere else.

Many other Chinese restaurants with better quality and WAY more value for your money! Disappointing experience.

Purchased 18 egg rolls and one order of beef fried rice. The amount of plum sauce provided for 18 egg rolls isn't enough and the portion of the beef fried rice is by far the most pathetic small size portion I have ever gotten in my whole of ordering from a Chinese restaurant! New Hong Kong's portion would be 3X the size compared to GP. I had to take a second look at the order and thought maybe it was a free rice because I ordered over $50 but to my surprise it was my $12 order of fried rice, how sad!

The egg rolls are large and have a great crisp, with a meaty filling that's second to none. The open burnt ends add something special to The taste that I've never had anywhere else. We added chicken and spring rolls to our order to have a little sample. You could taste the chicken in the chicken rolls, which was awesome. The veggies in the spring rolls were fresh. The plum sauce could have been more flavorful but worked well with these rolls. It's a little oily but you're not getting these as a healthy snack. Definitely give these rolls a try.
e	eHudsonification on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent egg rolls, nothing else. The “plum sauce” was a watery, flavourless dish of orange liquid the consistency of Jell-O. Just buy it from Food Basics like everyone else, guys. The spicy beef with green pepper was a bowl of celery stalks and raw onion in a sauce that was watery at best. I spooned it over the rice and it evaporated as quickly as liquid on the surface of Mars.
