Absolutely, no interest in our customer satisfaction from the store manager; mostly dismissive attitude towards our concerns. After several attempts, they still could not drill/cut my custom vanity top to required measurements. Initially with the first top, center faucet hole and undermount sink was not centered on 26" quartz top (a full 1/2" off). When top had to be returned to have the H & C lever holes drilled out, it was returned with one hole a full 1/4" father away from the center hole then the other and all three holes were not aligned with each other; it was only then that I noticed that the undermount sink was not centered. Again, with the current top (new purchase), width not the required 26" custom measurement required; 1/4" off the mark and still lever holes are not equidistant from center. Store manager never once apologized to us, would not provide replacement and always the comeback was that it was within "industry standards" and you just have to jiggle the faucet system to make it work. I am now left with a 1/4" gap on the side of my vanity. I only gave a two star because the vanity itself is half decent for the price paid. A measuring tape and square would go a long way. Caused lengthy delays in our bathroom reno project. If Gus' cared about customer satisfaction, they would do right with the customer!

A very good place if you are shopping to update your bathroom. they have bathroom furniture and fittings like faucets and sinks and vanities. Plus a fair selection of quartz and granite tops for vanities. They also have top quality kitchen cabinets though the selection is limited. They are flexible in changing vanity tops A few years ago I would’ve given them 5 stars as their cabinet quality was amazing. Almost like hand crafted ones. They are still very very good and cabinet drawers are dovetailed construction but.... Overall their prices are better than almost all competitors.

We checked out most of the stores in the city and were so impressed with the products and prices at Gus's. So happy with our renovation, thanks again to the wonderful staff for all your help with our project!

Shame On You We purchased a $1800 vanity from this place in July 2016 and it was available for pick-up in August 2016. We had it professionally installed by contractors who were completely redoing 2 bathrooms in a new home we had recently purchased. By March the unit began showing severe cracks. I sent a letter to Gus's asking if they would replace the unit or, come and get it and reimburse me. Keep in mind that we had this professionally installed so now we are looking the cost of having an electrician and plumber return to uninstall the old one and install a new one. This is the response I received from Gus's head office. " Solid Wood Vanities and Wood Hutches are not covered under Warranty. This would be caused by the humidity levels in the house. Our cost on a hutch is $495.00 and we can sell you a new hutch at cost as an option or I would suggest for a fast and easier fix then purchasing a new hutch, is to use wood filler to fill the cracks and use a touch up espresso paint or pencil. let me know if you have any other questions. thank you john Imagine! They had the audacity to suggest we come back and pay them more money for a unit that had already proven itself faulty and lasted mere months. Also, we knew it had nothing to do with the humidity because we also had a new humidifier installed when we moved in and the humidity in our home sits at 40-50% depending upon the season. Oddly enough, it seems this was the only piece of furniture affected. To say that we are not happy is an understatement. We now have a beautiful master bath with a "new" vanity cracked in several, very obvious places. Please, please DO NOT spend your money at this store. Since we have had this problem we have heard from many others who have had similar experiences. We have lodged a complaint with the BBB which can be viewed on their website. It appears this issue will not be resolved without legal intervention.

Great staff and prices. Super helpful not pushy and they offer custom tops if your just looking to give your old vanity new life.

My wife and I purchased a bathroom cabinet, shower base,Shower door, Quartz walls, Faucets and toilet for our main bathroom last year. the service, products, and delivery time where outstanding. we returned to Gus's to renovate our on-suite bathroom this year and where given amazing discounts by the stores manger for being return customers. I highly recommend shopping at Gus's to everyone looking to do a bathroom renovation

Buyer beware! These guys make you pay for their mistakes. I ordered shower glass and quartz walls from the Ottawa store. Such a mistake of mine. I was supposed to be a lucky customer because my order was in stock and I picked it up in 3 weeks with a rented truck. Yes but no. In a few days, the store called me and asked me if I had all the glass. It turned out one was missing. They had forgotten to give it to me, and since they repeated multiple times that a delivery service was not available, I had to rent the truck again. I told myself: "OK mistakes happen, no problem", so I rented the truck and went to pick it up. Well, the time for the installation came and guess what? WRONG GLASS, ladies and gentlemen! Waiting 1 more month only to see if they really have it in stock. Finally they called me saying they had it. I asked for compensation but they wanted to give me a store credit. A store credit?! Their store credit won't pay the rent of the truck, moreover my bathroom renovation is almost finished, only that freaking glass was missing! Am I recommending this business? Buyers, RUN AWAY from their stores! Maybe I am just an unlucky customer, or maybe they don't care at all about their customers. If it happens that you order from them, fingers crossed that they won't make a mistake with your order, because they're going to make you wait a great deal of time and make you pay for their mistakes and you are going to walk several times to their store and back to finally got what you really need. I don't recommend this business even to my enemies! My biggest mistake to shop there!
