★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolute terrible customer service. Went in to make a return and was treated sub-human. The manager, Josh, was particularly insulting as he repeatedly cut me off as I was explaining the situation. Shame to see a Canadian company with no Canadian values.

A discouraged experience!!! they definitely don't deserve my business, roots isn't my go to brand. I don't shop there anyways, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I highly don't recommend this location.

I received a gift from a family member over the holidays that was bought on a 40% discount (Friends & Family) and I went to exchange it at the Roots location at Square One for the correct size only to find out they would not honour the same promotion, for the same items that was on the receipt. The cashier/sales associate escalated the problem to the manager but the manager stated "There is nothing I can do, feel free to try another Roots location." The attitude of the manager was very condescending and dismissive as she seemed to care more about being pulled away from her phone rather than resolving my challenge.
Fortunately for me, I stopped by the Sherway Gardens Roots location on the way home and they not only exchanged the items with the same 40% promotion but they also apologized for the fact I had to go to multiple Roots stores to resolve a problem that was simple and rudimentary.
The lesson here is: if you want poor customer service, feel free to visit the Roots at Square One.

Staff of this store is really polite and so much of positive vibe in the store and everyone is very helpful. They are the true example of team work. Great job and thank you for being so kind.
