From our humble origins as breakfast experts – to today’s menu with dozens of modern dishes for any time of the day, Ricky’s is a place where everyone feels at home.
Ricky’s opened its doors in Vancouver in 1962 as Ricky’s Pancake House, famous for buttermilk pancakes, value breakfast specials, and the very best service. Ricky’s expanded in the 1980s to include full lunch and dinner. As well, in 2014, Ricky’s acquired ABC Country Restaurants, a chain that had delivered great country fare for over 40 years. This merge brought together two great brands, both with a rich history of delivering exceptional food and service to Canadian families.
In 2017, the Ricky’s brand further expanded with the launch of Ricky’s Café, a new contemporary café concept with an express burger and sandwich bar and gourmet home meal takeout service. All while still serving the famous breakfasts and high quality lunch and dinner items Ricky’s is known for.
With ongoing expansion, including new locations opening in Alberta and BC, Ricky’s has 85+ locations across Canada to serve you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very well run business. My takeout bennies were packaged beautifully. I really respect the owner of this business. They gave a free meal to a man with cerebral palsy, and I saw the waitress help him button up his coat. If you like Rickis food at all this is just the very best version of it. They care about the community. Bathrooms are immaculate, service is excellent. They dot their i's and cross their T's. Very refreshing to see how this business is run.

Good service, attentive, and friendly. The food also does not take long to come out (we went on a Sunday brunch).
If you are looking for a bite to satisfy the breakfast cravings and you’re in the country hills area, look no further! This is the place to go, it’s close and it’s breakfast!
I wish there was something a little bit more special about the place, but it feels very mediocre. I’ll admit I was a little disappointed when I saw my meal, but it did the job, it filled me!

The meal was great had big waffle breakfast and my gf had the works. Food was great and the usual larger than usual servings. The price was just right and the service was fantastic. I definitely would recommend for breakfast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The brown toast was burnt and the burnt side was facing down so we didn’t notice it when it’s served. The server was nice enough to replace with new toast. But the burnt one shouldn’t have been served at first.
